Halász "Airport" Panzio — Hotel in Vecsési járás

DON'T RECOMMEND this place. The service is terrible. It's not even impolite service, the girl on reception acted aggressively.

At night the 5th of March 2020. I had a long flight. My plane arrived at the airport at night, so I stayed at the airport searching where I can stay tonight, the problem that is not clear where are rooms available at night, a no opportunities to check it via telephone. So I just decided to come over to the nearest hotel and check availability at the place, since at reviews to this "hotel" it was written that they have 24h reception and its ideal if you come from the night flight.

When I come to the hotel the girl said that they don't have available rooms, I asked to suggest another place to stay and she points me the route. I asked: maybe we can call that hotel? And she replied impolitely, that this, not her business.

So then I checked another hotel, but the place was closed, the reception didn't work at night. Since I didn't have internet, I wanted to come back to Halász "Airport" Panzio and ask for small favor provide me access to the internet to come over to another hotel. I had passed through the gate with another employee from the hotel and then I've faced the girl (from the reception), she said to me, that she didn't invite me, and she opened the gates to the hotel, not for me.

She said that they don't have available rooms, so why I came to her. Then she let me in inside, give access to WIFI, provide several hotels, but give me the understanding that she gives me a big favor to help me, and I can use internet-only outside (where it was very cold at night, and I didn't have a winter jacket), then she let me stay, but only for 5 minutes, and she often repeated that "You cannot stay here", "We are not a charity". It's like I was a homeless beggar, who wanted to sleep on the floor of the reception. It was very insulted.

Then I call a taxi via BoltApp and moved to another hotel, which one was totally overpriced, but I didn't have any other options at night and was extremely exhausted.

So I DON'T RECOMMEND this place. The service is rude, they don't even try to be polite. They don't owe me anything, I was not their client, but imagine that they can be so impolite with the clients as well.

If you work in the hospitality service you can not afford behavior like this, it's fully inappropriate, the hotel doesn't owe to help me, but to be polite — yes. The girl can tell me: "I just can not help you" with the smile. But she even didn't try polite, and used very straightforward wordings: "It's not my business to help you", "You are not my client", "We are not the charity".

I was really shocked, I am traveling around the world permanently and the first time I ever met so aggressive service at the hotel. Your style of service is short-sighted, you think that if the potential client is not your current client you can say to him whatever you want. So you are losing your potential clients.

I hope your business will die, so other travelers will never face the terrible...

We had 1 night booking at this place after a long flight. We got anything but a good rest experience. We received the room in the building from the street. When we entered the hallway there was a horrible smell of toilet, which got into the room as well. After entering we noticed that there is a constant noise in the room from one of the electric / gas systems. We called the lady at the reception which repeated 5 times she can't help (probably she knew the gas system was doing that noise, we noticed that when we got outside of the building) and didn't even bother to check. We asked for a different room, and she said there is no other room available. They had last evening 1 car parked in the courtyard and 3 cars outside, so doubtful there was no other room available. The furniture in the room is old and the beds cannot be called comfortable. This place, despite from being close to the airport, has no other good point. Even the location is not an argument to stay here, as there are multiple options in the area, far better. In conclusion, the lady had 0 interest in customer service as was very rude when we kindly asked her to check on the noise matter. We didn't objected about the smell or the room condition. Of course we left in the middle...

We found this lovely place by luck as our originally booked hotel mixed up our reservations and they can not accommodate us. At least they booked us an alternative - now I know we were so lucky. ||||Warm welcome from the friendly receptionist, who offered us a wakeup call, booked us a transfer for early morning 4 am and show us our room. Nice courtyard, garden area with sun beds and outside cooking facilities. Clean and functional room with air-condition, cable TV and extra bedding. ||The attached restaurant serve good quality Hungarian cuisines on a reasonable price. The menu is quite big, there is plenty to choose from. Also they offer a good selection of local wines, spirits and beers. ||Our waitress were friendly and efficient and spoke a bit English and Germany, but they have English and German menu as well, so easy to choose. ||||Overall: £20 for a room|| £30 for a dinner with aperitif, a bottle of wine and 3 course meal for TWO, || 5 minute drive from the airport, || with free car parking, Wi-Fi|| 24hrs reception||I think this is the best value for money place where you can stay and dine before your flight. ||Highly...
