Durga Pride — Hotel in Andhra Pradesh

3* rated. A bit expensive for a standard ac double bed room - 1350 inclusive of charges

Initially I booked that infamous double bed room @ 800 r.s. Turned out to be non ac (ok i didn't notice that little aircondition icon when booking). The fan not working. It was 37° so i opted for the ac room which shows 1190 (but there are still gst and other charges written below). The management is very quick ro come up with thier patent defensive excuses i.e. I can't find a better deal than theirs in kurnool.

Cons first Expensive for a double occupancy @1350 All double rooms have 2 single mattresses on the cot. A nuisance for the couple. Keeps drifting apart. 1* No soap. No shampoo. No towels. 1* No refreshments of choice nearby 2* i guess they keep the better view room for themselves i guess. Didn't give me. 1*

Pros second Excellent aircondition 5* Average hygiene 3* Helpful staff and management 3* Couples allowed 5* Quite and calm 3* Good shower 3* Good chicken biryani...

Worst service, Ac doesn't work properly, restroom was not clean, when they handed over. While vacating the place, They charged extra amount for room cleaning and rest room cleaning in the advance amount they took from me while booking. I would not recommend this place, unless you have no other hotels left at Kurnool city. Owner replied back to my comment and I'm unable to reply to him so editing my comment for the owner: Boss, understand something we are also humans, not all who take rooms party, puke and dirty the room, I came with my uncle for temple visit. So, you should collect extra for those who dirty it and make mess out of it, so before you support your staff you better be there at your lodge and take care of things, when we stayed there for two days we could never find you, to complain. So, instead of actively replying here you better be there and be part of customer onboarding and see how the room is given...

It's not a full budget room for a non-metropolitan city. It has dedicated parking which is a plus. The owner has saved a lot of space to match the budget. Some might feel the room conjusted especially if u stay longer during day instead of just using room to sleep. Biggest issue is the space of toilet, it's extremely conjusted. If one stands to take bath, the water falls back in bucket. It's very very hard to take bath in such a conjusted space. If there are elderly people and want to take bath sitting, they have no choice but to sit on commode and take bath. I felt keeping toilet space so less is a bit too much cost cutting.
