Hotel Karanth's — Hotel in Andhra Pradesh

The hotel is closer to the railway station and the room fare is fine. The staff interaction is commendable. However the stay may not be a pleasant experience!

Rooms are spacious and the beds are big. However it is very difficult to stay in Non-Ac rooms because of the extreme temperatures at Vizag. I have seen a couple of bugs in the bed, but what affected my sleep was the hot temperature! So, AC rooms are preferable here.♨️

Don't expect birds chirping or water flowing soothing experiences; but the vehicles honking, sounds from the railway station, and airplanes.🔊

I will be booking a room next time also while traveling solo because the railway station is near, but will take some ear buds with me,...

Worst experience guys.. Dont stay there if u come to vizag for travel.. I recently checked out 3 days before. Me with my parents stayed there only 2 days.. Bt they are so rude to us and demand for extra fees.. For staying 3 person in a double bed room.. Even they r so unhygienic never clean our room during tht 3 days.. They even book a car for us which charge around 4000..after so many argument they took 2500..so rude behavior n mannerless staff.. I will upload some pic of tht room.. Literally u will cry.. How someone can stay in this hotel. . N they even didn't provide any blanket.. U hv to carry a blanket if u r going to live here.. Other issue...

Karanth's served one of the best South Indian tiffins /breakfast in the 80's, their town kotha road branch was my staple breakfast haunt for decades. Missed the restaurant for around 20 years when a friend informed me this hotel still exists. Fantastic taste till date, none of the current parlours or fancy Tiffin centers can match the authentic taste. If you're someone who cares more about how the food tastes rather than the decor, this is the place for you. Highly recommend. Masala dosa...
