Hotel Todo — Hotel in Arunachal Pradesh

I was in Itanagar after ages and did not have much idea of the current hotel scene there.So I had to check into this hotel booked by my local contacl.The hotel is located between Itanagar and Naharlagun and on the main road which itself is not very inviting.I stayed in a Queens suite which was overpriced.The loo was in a poor state and I had to change my room which had a balcony looking onto the main road.The level of cleanliness of the room and the toilet leaves much to be desired.The room thankfully had a coffee maker with free supply of tea and coffee.The ante room was very shabby.The breakfast which was on the house had to be ordered from the menu card.The food was one of the few redeeming features of the hotel.The restaurant itself is very cramped and located at the basement floor.No gym facility.Stay at this place only if you have no option.The checkout is not very smooth with the staff taking...

A business trip to Itanagar, reached early in the morning by train.||No one in the reception to greet the customer. Called out a couple of times, before i went inside and woke up the sleeping waiter.||Had booked thro the OTA and they had not even prepared the room! - From then on my experience with this hotel has been downhill.||Room i was allotted , was in the ground floor had a very small bathroom & i shared the room with a mouse !!||I saw it scurrying & told the reception bout it . - They said yes it might be there and not to worry bout it :P .||Since the room was right near to the reception, Other guests knocked constantly to know who i was???... If i had not locked the door .. would walk right in ..look perplexed and get out. - book ||If you are travelling with family , kindly avoid this hotel at all cost !...

This was my visit to Itanagar and I have no clue about the lodging options there. Online search threw very limited names, TODO being One, so I booked it.||||Hotel is located on main road between Naharlagun (Itanagr Railway Station) and Itanagar town. The location was peaceful with good view of the valley. It was also near to Raj Bhavan and Gompa. The room was large and well ventilated. Hygiene and cleanliness was not it should have been with stain all over the floor and smell was also not good. Washrooms were not so clean either. ||||Food was good (Yes, vegetarian Food..). and reasonably price. Overall a OK place but certainly need some improvement in...
