Comfort Stay Villa — Hotel in Assam

Our experience with Comfort stay villa has been really disappointing. The location is far away from the main town ideal for people who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are 4 rooms in the villa, 2 rooms are on the ground floor and 2 rooms are on the 1st floor. One of the room's ac downstairs was not working. The other room had a huge void between the corridor and bedroom wall so ac was unable to cool down the room. One of the washrooms upstairs had wastebin filled with waste from the previous guests, which they didn't bother to clean. The sink in the downstairs kitchen had a tap that was running in all directions when opened. The caretakers were reluctant to apologize or rectify anything. We had booked previously, paid an advance too which they returned later but even after prior booking they didn't make sure everything was operational. The rooms and washrooms were presentable and good looking but everything went in vain because of this...

Very disappointed with this place. When we arrived here, one of the bathrooms was completely wet and the kitchen cabinets (inside) and some utensils were filthy. The fridge as well. They left empty bottles in there that might have been from previous clients. They didn’t clean it out. And they didn’t attach the gas cylinder as well. No briefing when we arrived as well. The only plus point for this location is that it’s very close to the airport. Even though the area was away from the busy city, it is located so close to the train station. So if you have kids who are light sleepers or if you are a light sleeper, I do not recommend this place. The blaring sounds of the train horns will wake you up in the middle of the night like it did to us. Extra star for good looking interiors for bedroom and bathroom.
