Tucked along A.T. Road in the vibrant heart of Nagaon, Assam, Hotel Rishiraj stands out as a premium boutique hotel that blends comfort with a touch of elegance. Its prime location, just 150 km from Guwahati International Airport and close to key attractions like Nagaon University and Senchoa Junction Railway Station, makes it a convenient choice for travelers. The modern facade and classy interiors, adorned with tasteful decor, create an inviting atmosphere from the moment you step in.
The hotel offers 31 well-appointed rooms, including the luxurious Rishiraj Premium Suites. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with modern amenities like air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. The bathroom was well-maintained with high-quality fittings, though I noticed a slight delay in hot water availability. The rooftop lounge, Flame & Grill, is a highlight, offering a vibrant ambiance and a diverse menu featuring Indian, Chinese, Thai, and local Assamese dishes. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful mix of continental and regional options, though the buffet could benefit from more frequent restocking during peak hours.
The staff, led by an attentive management team, is courteous and responsive. Special mentions go to Nilakshi Baruah for impeccable housekeeping and Mrinal Jyoti Nath for exceptional front-desk service. However, some reviews note occasional lapses in room service speed and staff training, which I experienced with a delayed room cleaning request. The hotel’s central location, while convenient, can get noisy during market hours, and parking is limited.
Overall, Hotel Rishiraj offers a comfortable stay with a strong focus on hospitality. Despite minor hiccups, its excellent location, clean rooms, and inviting dining options make it a top pick in Nagaon. I’d return for the warm service and...
Read moreIf you’re planning a night stay in Nagaon, where good options are quite limited, Hotel Rishiraj is definitely one of the better choices. Located conveniently at Panigaon Chariali, the location is perfect for travelers.
The rooms are decent and clean, though there’s definitely scope for improvement when it comes to cleanliness—more of a “chal jata hai” vibe. The room standard is good, although the pricing feels a bit on the higher side for the overall quality.
What really stands out is the food. I absolutely loved their veg options—the Dal Makhani is super delicious, and the Mix Veg was incredibly tasty too. If you’re a fan of homely yet flavorful food, this is a big plus.
The staff is polite and helpful, making the stay comfortable. The breakfast menu is impressive with options like puri sabji, fruits, kheer, and even coffee—a really nice touch for morning meals.
One suggestion: Please update the contact number on Google. The current one listed is incorrect and causes confusion when trying to call the hotel.

When I came to check in the hotel in mentioned dates in late evening another receptionist told me that I have no booking in the hotel that day. Hotel management even not tried to manage a room for that night, they just said sorry. I have stayed with one of my office friend . I have suffered for their fault.
