Pristine homestay — Hotel in Assam

Alert- Do not believe any of the reviews below. I stayed here 3 days back with my sisters and this is one of the dirtiest places. There were truck drivers in another room with gamocha and smoking in the shared living space.

While I understand that the given price is pretty pocket friendly, I can't expect anything, but the dirt in the place and mosquitoes were crazy. We contacted the gentleman who took our reservations and asked him for a fresh sheet- He replied that the cleaning lady did not show up so no fresh sheet.

Later, I told him that we will have to check out because the online feedback was great and the reality is far away. We went to buy some things and the gentleman wrapped our things and kept them outside. He touched our belongings without any permissio.

As I write this, the one star that I had to forcefully give is also ...

First of all the Preatine Homestay is in the heart of the city, especially MR like us who would like to work for Medical stream,meet Dr. And second of all the rooms are neat and clean well maintained , Food served is also healthy and homely ,I really enjoyed my one complete week of stay. It was a horrible experience. The rooms were so dirty. Infact we found bedbugs in the bed. For one whole night we had to stay without water. Most interesting part was, throughout our stay for two days, the honour of the homestay didn't come to meet us atleast for once. A perfect thumbs down for this so called "...
