FabHotel Prime JVH — Hotel in Bengaluru

The worst experience in my life, both at the hotel and with Fabhotels Customer Care-not. We are a senior couple and requested for a kettle to drink warm water. We were made to wait from 10.30 pm (check in) till 12 midnight. The kettle then given was dirty and smelling of stale eggs with food particles burnt to the bottom as someone had fried an egg in it. Hotel said they cannot wash it or provide another. When I called up Fabhotels to complain, the smart lady said that she could not help as the problem was of my making as I was a pure vegetarian. According to her, the kettle request had been fulfilled. As regards cockroaches in the room (which started emerging when lights were switched off), she directed me to prove to the hotel management that cockroaches were present. There was no hot water too for bathing. Thankfully she did not tell me to measure the temperature and prove it. In-house restaurant people had left before 10.30 pm (timings mentioned on the menu card placed in the room was 7.30am to 11pm). Morning even at 8.15am, the kitchen was deserted but someone churned out over boiled bitter tea for our consumption. The room I stayed in was 218. Deluxe room?? Really??

I had booked the room through makemytrip. On arrival they said they didn't see any booking on my name. Took time to check-in. Desk staffs looked unwelcoming. No one helped me carry my luggage to the room. Food is not on time. They say breakfast starts at 8.30am but not really. When I asked they said they were out of provisions. Room looked unhygienic. Floor was sticky. Bathroom was terrible. Poor lighting TV and fridge weren't working Extension land phone was not working. Frequent power-cut. No free drinking water. Bathroom - Shower wasn't working, bucket was a 20 L asian paints container which was dirty, mug was dirty, commode seat and lid were found detached and kept on the floor, the floor was sticky, no mirror, no shampoo, the vent on the wall is broken and exposing Only the kitchen staff seemed friendly Bread-omlet and coffee...

Rooms are heavily under maintained. I had to change the room because of a non working door lock and power issues. Location is bit compromised and surrounded with industries working all day. Too loud couldn't sleep, AC WAS OUT OF ORDER,TV Had local channels only. No wifi and outside food was not allowed. Giving 4star for location because it was in a walking distance from mysuru road...
