Hotel Metro View Inn - Bangalore — Hotel in Bengaluru

First of all after i booked this hotel by paying 2000+ INR i tried to contact them in the contact number they have provided. But I could not get them on phone.so i couldn't call and inform about the availability of early check in and i had no other choice but to take the risk and go directly to the hotel. |When i reached the hotel, the location was good. Just walkable distance from mysuru road metro station. The receptionist was not friendly and she said the land line number of the hotel was not working. We reached there by 12 pm and the mentioned check in time was 2 pm. They gave us the room without much hindrance.the room was 318 and it was clean. But on the way the restaurant and the lift area smelled very bad. The bathroom was average. |No soap was provided. The water was coming with huge pressure with lots of big air bubbles and it was like water exploding from the water tap. We got all wet just by opening the wash basin tap. |The mini bar was empty. |Our room phone was not working. |The hot water mixer in the bathroom was not working properly and it was giving too hot water even when the tap was turned to the right side. We couldn't control the hot water temperature so i had to settle for bathing in boiling water. There was no bucket and mug .they also didnot give us the wifi password. I had to go down to the reception and asked them twice and later on i got the password after 5 hours. |We asked for a soap as it was not provided in the bathroom (i dont know the reason for that) i asked for one soap and they replied that there is liquid soap in the bathroom and we will not provide another soap. |In the evening i asked for a lime juice which was not available. |So i thought i will ask for sweet corn chicken soup which was also not available. |I gave up and finally i asked only one favour.... |I asked for early breakfast by 7 00 am as i had to report at an examination center at 7 30 am ... Obviously the breakfast was late and my taxi had to wait.|Over all it was a horrible experience. |I will never stay at that hotel again|Sorry...

This is a nice place to stay, centrally located, just off the Main Mysore Road and behind the Metro Station. An awesome place to stay where our guests felt quite happy and comfortable.||We not only booked the Rooms for our Guests but also utilized their Roof Top Floor for a Wedding Related Event.||This was very well organized and the staff were quite cooperative. It is aided by a dynamic Manager, Mr.Sathyanarayana who is efficient, hardworking, sincere and creative. ||It was upon his suggestion that we conducted the function there. There is ample space, with good seating arrangements and space for Dining, Dance and Music.||The various spacious areas occupying the Entire Floor was utilized brilliantly by us for conducting all events, dance, music, Mehendi, Haldi and Sangeeth.||I would strongly recommend Metro View Inn not only for staying by guests from outside Bengalure but also for holding functions like Get Togethers, Conferences, Parties, etc.,||Thanks to Mr.Sathyanarayana, Mr.Rangaswamy and all other staff who were considerate, helpful, cooperative and ever ready to listen to our requests however small they were.||Make your events memorable, successful by discovering this...

The three days we stayed AC didn’t work & we changed rooms few times. The boys who would come to fix didnt understand Kannada or Hindi so frustrating to interact with. Elevators never (almost never) ran in those three days. We had to take stairs to 3-4 floors. At first I didn’t mind but with luggage it is super inconvenient. That is why the 2 stars. I could have put up with everything else but not carrying luggage to 3 floors. The hallways & stairways almost never had lights, I don’t know what’s the deal with it because this hotel is kind of built interior and without lights in the hallway/stairway it was scary.

Location: it’s built in not so great location other than you are right behind Metro station. There are no decent hotels or coffee shops to even get a quick bite. Obviously this hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, lunch or dinner. So taking Metro to everything is your only option.
