CPWD Holiday Home — Hotel in Bihar

This is a Holiday Home by CPWD and can be booked by government employees only. The place is very nice but the service is pathetic. The staffs here are very casual and don't listen to you unless you tell them several times. We stayed here for 4 nights, the rooms are good but lacks maintenance. The bedsheet and pillows were torn and when we complained they changed thebedsheet after telling several times but didnot changed the torn pillow covers. We asked for the blanket cover as the blanket was dirty but they didn’t provide the same telling that covers havr gone to laundry.

There was no TV remote or AC remote in the room and even after asking several times it was not given. Too much mosquito in the room without any repellant. No soaps were also provided to us even after asking. No aminities are there even though by CPWD rule it should be there. Rooms were not even clean at all.

There is a canteen in the ground floor which is charging very high like 60rs for breakfast and 130rs for veg lunch. We even didn't get the lunch one day even after prior ordering. They told me that lunch is over and there is no way. I think its the people here making the experinece pathetic. Otherwise the place is very good and the surroundings are...

Very pathetically maintained holiday home by CPWD, the condition of rooms were very poor as if they have not maintained since inception. The room were filled with mosquitoes mo repellents were provided, The bed sheets pillow cover were like that havent got changed since last 3-4years, crores of tax payers money were spent on constructing these holiday homes, and they were maintained so pathetically that after 5-6years no body wants to stay there. This is utter shame in writing this review that our premier organization CPWD is doing such poor job that they cant even maintain a holiday home efficiently. Very bad. Not so professionals at counter. Typical bossy mentality. No hospitality. Everyone feels here that they are running this hotel. Means, not expecting that they should behave like a servant, do not take in wrong way but they should so some hospitality. Also the place is not clean at all. Government is putting more focus on cleanness, but government places itself not so clean on because of poor bossy mentality of the working staffs. They should get some training or qualifying rounds then should get the job here.
