During my stay, I encountered several serious problems:
Overcharging: I was charged extra when I booked my room online and paid in advance. This practice is not in line with the transparency and fairness I associate with OYO.
Hygiene Issues: The cleanliness of the rooms was appalling. The linens smelled terribly, and it was clear that the rooms had not been adequately cleaned.
Bathroom Condition: The bathroom was in an unacceptable state with no working showers, making it impossible to take a comfortable and refreshing bath.
Non-Functioning AC: The air conditioning unit in my room was not working properly and failed to cool the room, even after running it for hours.
Missing Amenities: There was no television in my room, which is a basic amenity I expect at an OYO property.
Dirty Towels and Bed Sheets: The towels and bed sheets provided were also unclean, further contributing to the overall discomfort.
Additionally, I believe that the pictures of the hotel presented online are misleading, as they do not reflect the current condition of the property. If an OYO representative were to visit the hotel now, they would likely not recognize it from the outdated images.
I am deeply disappointed by this experience, as I have been a loyal OYO customer for a long time and have generally had positive experiences with your brand. However, this stay has left me feeling that I wasted my money and was deceived by the hotel management's false representation.
I kindly request that you investigate these issues promptly and take appropriate action to ensure that such substandard experiences do not tarnish OYO's reputation in the future. I also expect a refund or compensation for the extra charges and the overall inconvenience caused during my stay.
I trust that you will address these concerns with the utmost urgency and professionalism. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to...
Read more1.)The hotel is located in very cramped interior locality and away from main road. 2.)Rude staff and no food and potable water provision. 3.Rooms: Almost all the rooms are very bad. No AC is in working condition. All the room locks are in poor condition with no safety to your luggage and belongings. The bed sheets are stained with blood stains and pillows have gone brown and started growing fungus. 4.Bathroom: The W/C is very cramped with no space for legs. The sinks are too small with no mirrors. The taps are just broken and not maintained. OYO: Even being a company serviced hotel even OYO fails to help you with anything. 6.This hotel is just working due to couples coming for an hour or two.So the hotel is also not interested in maintainance.
I personally had very bad experience with this hotel and would recommend everyone to stay as far as possible from this hotel and look for other hotels. Please don't book this place guys even you are couple ;you can find other options.
I had booked 3 room and got first three rooms in the first floor ie 102, 103and 106. After complaining that the AC were not working in any three rooms ; they just changed our 2 rooms to 108 and 104 which too_ were in more worse situation. The OYO audit staff had sealed the room no 102 and 103 on same day due to previous complaints, which we misunderstood that they were helping us but too our surprise they weren't.They were just acting due to the prior complaints. On complaint of AC the staff kept saying that it will start working after 10-10 min,the electrician is coming etc but never did anything for the issue.
I do not recommend even my enemies to stay even for a night in this hotel. Pls see the photos and...
Read moreI checked in at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, and the hotel demanded 1200 rupees, claiming that OYO had incorrectly shown 500 rupees. I insisted on paying only 500, but the hotel refused to provide a room. Eventually, I accepted their demand and stayed until the evening of the same day. I experienced a lot of frustration due to the condition of the room and staff; it seems this property engages in deceptive practices, especially towards couples, earning extra money through the OYO platform. Despite OYO displaying a rate of 500, the hotel charged 900 – a 300 rupee discrepancy, which appears to be a scam by the hotel owner.
In my opinion, OYO should remove such properties from their application. I've been using OYO since 2015, and this issue persists, especially in tier two cities like Patna, Gaya, Agra, where the conditions are not up to the mark. In contrast, metropolitan cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, and Bhubaneswar adhere to the mentioned prices on the OYO platform.
Overall, based on my own experiences, I would rate this stay with 1 star, particularly due to issues faced by couples. Additionally, the practice of clicking ID card pictures on their smartphones violates privacy policies. Instead, the hotels should take photocopies for future use, making the process more secure. I hope these concerns are understood and addressed for the benefit...
