Hotel Jyoti Forbesganj — Hotel in Bihar

Stayed on a long Highway trip for the night. The place is clean, linen fresh, and staff was good, too. Huge parking space. Kettle and cups and coffee provided. Hot water in the geyser. Toilet paper was given. The room was spacious and had a great big chair to sit and relax apart from other furniture. There was also a little outdoor balcony blocked from all sides, perhaps for privacy. Drinking water was provided.

For a long distance we didn't find any other hotel in Bihar, so if you are on the road and need a place to sleep, go here without any doubt. We were asked for proof of marriage which is a common in this and many other parts of the country. We paid 2300 which is a huge amount for a night, but that was the only option.

Why I am not providing five star is because the hotel provided basic things such as tea and toilet paper upon being asked. Biscuit jars and snacks were empty though in this price they should keep those filled for the tired guests. Furniture could...

Any Hotel experience is the sum of the ambience, the food and the people ..We were on a 14,200 km Motorcycle ride on Electric Motorcycles and a crew of 8 people. Each one of us found this 'Oasis' in Forbesganj - a breath of fresh air after living in Hotels across the North East. The Owner Mr Anil Singh was a Gracious host, warm and welcoming, his training of his people was evident in the way Anu, Sweta, Chef Ujwal , Ajit and the rest of the staff treated all of us. The Litti Chokha was the best I have eaten and the Food outstanding. This is truly a great place for families and business exec to unwind ..Nepal border is 20 minutes away and the hotel has a Bakery with great breads and deserts and a clean and well maintained spa.
