Overall good stay, no major issues. Good hotel.

The hotel is located around 10 min walk from New Delhi station. This is not the best area in Delhi. The road it’s on is rather noisy and busy, but quietens down at night.

The rooms vary, they all have the basics, bed, air con etc. But they are all unique, which is nice, but means you are not 100% guaranteed to have the same every time.

What really makes this place 4* is the service. None of the staff are very professional, or speak much English, but the manager has them well trained in helping you. We had an issue where the lift was playing music very early in the morning. The manager went and stoped that for us. He also helped us out with external laundry. Helpful and kind and will work with you if needed.

The rooms are a little dated, the picture online are accurate, old style curtains and decor. I’d really like to see a bit of an update to the place. The windows are not totally sound proof, neither was the door, hence why the lift was loud.

WiFi works well when connected but you need to get a new user and password every 12h. Or randomly, when it stops working. This could be improved.

We were looked after as if we were in a 4 star hotel, the staff and service were very good! This is what is most important in the hotel.

Overall, good rooms, nice staff, could do with a deep clean and a whole hotel renovation. Kept us...

Lal's Haveli is a fantastic little hotel in the middle of a busy part of Delhi. It is located in Pahar Ganj, near the Delhi Central Railway Station and also very near to Rama Krishna Ashram Marg Metro Station. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are of a good size with a desk, an extra table, chairs, fan and air conditioner. The bathroom is adjoining the room with a separate door, also clean. Serviced every day to your wishes. Laundry and food can be arranged and served in your room. The management speaks English, Hindi and Urdu, is very people orientated and super friendly. All room boys are pleasant, well dressed in their uniform and also friendly. A great stay in a central Delhi location. Taxis and rickshaws, restaurants and shops are all nearby, even the Travel agent is next door! It deserves 5 stars and although not everyone might like such a busy neighbourhood, I can say that it is quiet inside and a very suitable venue for travellers, business or leisure. The owner, Mr Amit Wason lives next door and can help with all your queries, also with changing monies from different currencies into INR (Indian Rupees).

I have to catch a train from new delhi station that's why I booked this hotel at a budget rate. The location is good, just beside the main road. You have to climb a few steps to enter reception (1st floor). The staff are very polite and active. Lift facility is available in this hotel. The room is pretty good and clean for the price. The bed is clean & comfortable. I booked it from Cleartrip. You will get 2 water bottles and basic toiletries inside the room. The washrom is very small but it's clean. They have 24/7 hot water facility. For security, they have a guard at the entrance. For family stay, It's okayish. New delhi railway is just 5-10 mins away from the location. You will have plenty of lunch and dinner options nearby. I'll recommend the darbar restaurant (pure veg) just beside the hotel for lunch or dinner. You will get cabs/auto easily from this location.
