Opulent Hotel By Ferns N Petals — Hotel in Delhi

“Extremely poor experience ” I booked my stay at Opulent, for the weekend with my wife, upon checking into the room I immediately found a couple of spiders in the room especially on the bed. I informed the reception, and I was given another room to check into, now the issues begins. It was a hot day and I was tired from all the travelling I had been doing, and now I had to change rooms, which was exhausting on its own. The new room assigned to me looked good, but even after a couple of hours inside the room with the ac turned on full blast it just didn't work. I informed the staff twice and to no use, the ac didn't perform whatsover and we sat there sweating and tired, waiting to sleep. After requesting even more the staff disrespectfully offered us a table fan since nothing else could be done from their end, and me and my wife had to sleep with the table fan on. It was extremely disappointing and unexpected from a brand like udman, since I have been staying at their hotels for quite a while and I don't think I'll ever make the decision to stay with them anymore. 2nd visit (August 2025) :-

Definitely not worth the 6k per night. More worth 3k max. Room is just ok (wasn’t properly cleaned and there’s a pit inside - see the pictures). Phone didn’t work - they came to fix it but it wasn’t fixed.

Half of the staff are polite and helpful but half are not. Front desk main guy belongs to the latter. The other guy at front desk is good, polite and helpful.

Food is very expensive. Taste is ok.

1st visit (June 2025) :-

Spacious and well equipped room. Nice wooden flooring and furniture.

Ac wasn’t working after check in. And I had to call reception thrice to get someone to come fix it. It wasn’t fixed, and they finally changed the room.

Food is good. Room service is fast.

The front desk (Anand Bakshi) was not helpful or straightforward in solving the AC issue. He kept saying it is getting repaired. I checked in at 3 pm and he finally gave me a different room at 6 pm.

Would have given a 5 if not for this.

Bad first impression but it got better from then....

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall it was a pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the housekeeping team did a great job of keeping everything neat throughout my stay. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport facilities. The in-house restaurant offered a good variety of dishes, and the breakfast spread was satisfying. Mr.Arvind kumar ,is very helpful here. One small area of improvement could be quicker room service and better Wi-Fi speed, but it didn’t majorly affect the experience.
