reception was not really felt welcoming
when we reached at the room we asked for slippers which was delivered to us after 30 minutes (we excused this delay but on our every request they took much time)
we asked for spoon and forks that too delivered after 30 minutes
we asked for water bottle, that too took time and it was not complimentary with the stay (water should be complimentary with the stay because it's a need for a person not an optional thing, even if it's a policy i don't support it).
no bathtub
no bathrobes
housekeeping/room service staff was not seems to be professional
breakfast had very few items
lack of staff members at the time of breakfast (there was a single staff member present at the place of breakfast who has to make sure of everybody's requirements, give them what they want, attend in-room dining calls, arrange and manage the breakfast setup, clean the used tables)
slow wifi (also took many many attempts to get connected)
before this i had stayed in Ramada plaza Zirakpur Chandigarh and it was my best experience ever, but here in Ramada Pitampura New Delhi, it was the worst ever experience.
I must say Ramada Chandigarh was far far better than Ramada Pitampura New Delhi.
now i would like to tell things that Ramada Chandigarh had. very polite staff behaviour good assistance fast room service complimentary water bottle (extra) high speed wifi bathrobes slippers bathtub Staff members covering whole breakfast area for guests assistance
Ramada Chandigarh has really set a bar in my mind for a 5 star hotel
and Ramada Pitampura New Delhi really just a 5 star hotel by name and not by service and hospitality.

Read moreSo I am checking out from Ramada Pitam Pura Delhi. I will share my experience. The service staff is okay but the hotel claims itself to be 4 star but I would not rate it more than1.5 stars. The reason is they have no sense of Cleanliness and the equipment are broken or dysfunctional and the reception will easily tell you that entire hotel has some or the other dysfunctional equipment like Electric kettle , tv' s have picture tube issues. And on top of that we took an extra bedding which was had big cigarette burn holes. When asked to replace it they said this was the most clean bed and least burnt amongst all extra beds( His words in hindi ) but we had clean bed sheet so I managed. And as if that wasn't enough they asked us of 6 thousand rupees extra when we had 5 people in 2 rooms. They had severe objection that we didn't book through them directly. The receptionist was not at all apologetic about the pathetic services they are offering. His attitude was not professional and it felt as if he was used to such feedback and complaints from guests. We paid extra 6 thousand ( total of 29 k for 2 day stay for 5 people in 2 rooms) and left with a bitter taste. Joke was he took great pride in saying we are a 4 star hotel. I have stayed and seen 3 star, 5 star and 7 star hotels but this 4 star was new experience (pathetic). So this might sound like a rant which it is but an honest one and my motive of writing such a long review is to ask all things beforehand and not assume that Just because the website looks great , and they rate themselves as 4 star so everything is going to be upto the standard and the tariff they have put up.

Read moreJust did marriage of daughter on Dec 27th-Dec.28th, 2019 at Hotel Sewa Grand, Pitampura, now rechristened as Ramada Pitampura. Good food and good rooms. Had asked for less spicy and less oil in all meals which we got. Food was one area where we had NO complaints but unfortunately we faced other problems.||||1. All rooms are not having heater blower facility which was not told to us at time of booking. ||2. The maintenance of rooms needs a bit of more care with some drawers falling off. ||3. The bathroom sliding door system also needs better care as one door fell on our guests resulting in palm injury and many more were shaking. This is very serious actually.||4. The hotel CHEATED us by not giving the booked space near swimming pool for the fere and gave it to some SP of police department. This was outrageous and the administration made a fool of us saying that they were helpless. We were forced to do our shaadi ke fere in small cramped space and not offered any compensation . Not even a word of Apology!!! ||5. The recommended decorator from the hotel Mr. Rohit is a cheat as he failed miserably to deliver. Could not deliver the required arrangement after having promised to do so and took full money. No remorse too for not being able to fulfill the promises. Although not the responsibility of the hotel but the hotel needs to be more careful with its recommendations.||6. The hotel is hands in glove with the decorator for sure and uses him to msnipulate.VERY BAD PRACTICE.||||||Mr. Yash Gandhi, the administrator, is a very supportive person and accommodative too.
