The worst hotel in lachung, its owner and staff are rude.They were giving bad food even with money (before the flood). We were stuck during the Sikkim flood in 2023, during that emergency, when the rest of the hotels in lachung are giving their guests free accommodation & trying hard to help the tourists.The only hotel of lachung that didn't say anything was 20 guests in the evening who were kicked out all at once and spoke an unintelligible language. Its owner is associated with Sikkim local politics so much self pride. In that situation, Hotel Pan View, Lachung Police Check Post is located on the opposite side. The owner of this hotel is a goddess, who not only gives us 20 people shelter in her hotel, but also gives free food to 150 tourists who are stuck in it every day. I have never seen such kind people in my life. I will request to stay in this hotel, then everyone who does so much for free will understand how much service they provide to...

Good clean rooms and toilets.

Apparently, presentation lacks to some extent may be due non exposure in terms of dressing up the bathroom and leaving the dust bin wet, which doesn't leave a professional look inspite of following the standards of cleaning. Also, leaving used soap of previous guest gives a bad impression. These 2 rectification will surely change the outlook of this hotel which is worth a stay.

Staff are good and welcoming. And would insist you to have your breakfast prior to leaving at morning. Kindly nothe that the breakfast starts only after 06:30 am and the package consists only of Jam & Bread. Any other choice of dish needs to be paid.

Kindly note that waiting for the breakfast will delay in reaching Zero Point and Yumthang Valley which gets severly crowded adding up with traffic jams. Thus advisable to avoid wasting time having breakfast...
