Exceptional Resort Experience Panaji Hilton is undeniably one of the most exquisite resort-style hotels in the region. The staff here is exceptionally friendly, always at your beck and call, ensuring you feel completely at home. They go above and beyond, taking the time to personally understand any issues you may face or any assistance you might require. The breakfast buffet is a gastronomic delight, featuring an extensive array of culinary delights. From sumptuous South Indian and North Indian dishes to delectable Chinese and English breakfast options, it's a culinary journey for the senses. The buffet also boasts an array of fresh, succulent fruits, invigorating juices, and an assortment of aromatic teas and coffees. The breathtaking river view is absolutely awe-inspiring, whether it's the tranquil mornings or the picturesque sunsets. The infinity pool offers a truly revitalizing experience, perfect for unwinding and taking in the surroundings. The play area and kids' corner are an adventure waiting to happen, offering a plethora of engaging activities that will captivate your children for hours on end. A heartfelt and special gratitude goes out to Pawan, Kenny, Sudip, and the entire dedicated staff. They orchestrated every facet of our stay, ensuring it was nothing short of a delightful and memorable experience at the Panaji Hilton.

NOT A STAY REVIEW, just a BRUNCH review. Went here for brunch in August 2023. Rates 1500 per person (non alcoholic). Choice of 2-3 non alcoholic beverages, were good. Live chaat counter served all types of chaat, sev puris, etc, with vegetable chaats, and small veg/non veg tacos (which were flavorful). The chicken starters were nice. There was a live Dosa station which looked appealing, and an idli counter as well. (both of which we skipped) The vegetable counter was very tastefully decorated and gave an earthy feeling, served all types of local and exotic veggies. There was a seafood station as well, churning out delicious masala fry prawns and kingfish. The buffet was quite elaborate, but standard, lot of gravy items, noodles, and fish curry (which was not that good). The dessert counter however was a complete opposite, serving quite decent desserts. All of the croissants were really good, so were the small cakes and pastries and ice cream. All in all the desserts and starters were the good ones here, rest was ok. The surroundings of the hotel are really good, a full view of the Mandovi river and Divar island, very peaceful. Greenery all around. A play area for kids, and a recreation room also, and the infinity pool also appeared nice. A good place for a stay I feel. Very close to Panjim City and the heritage town of Old Goa.

My Google Review # 000307. Was here last month for a seminar for two nights. Scenically located, the hotel offers decent service and variety of buffet for Indian cuisines. The rooms are spacious and we had one on the lower floors which overlooked a small but well-kept garden. The tariff is also decent, especially for a tourist spot like Goa, though, Goa eventually will lose its over-hyped tourist charm as the generation discovers other worthwhile places in our country. The toilets were a bit small with extremely minimalistic space for the user to move from bath cubicle to the toilet to the wash basin. Bedding and linen were comfortable and clean. Best part was the infinity pool which was read for use from 7am for us. It was clean and did not have moulds accumulated anywhere. The toiletries that were sticked were also of sufficient quantity. For the buffet dinner, the variety was enough to make any vegetarian or a non-vegetarian happy. Selection of desserts for all meal timings was different and ever time, we had a loathsome quantity of portion size, to satiate our sweet tooths! The place is far from the airport and needs an hour to reach. So, plan your trip accordingly. Date of Experience # October 2023.

Booked this hotel at the end of our 2 week India trip for a bit of luxury and relaxation - mostly due to the view which is amazing. Sadly it wasn’t always relaxing as there were many big Indian families/groups with lots of kids. The pool isn’t big enough for all at times - some take over and we had families/kids sit on our beds/ move our stuff whilst we were in the pool 2 metres away!

I know the hotel isn’t adults only but Hiltons are usually calm so wasn’t expecting this.

We advance purchased the buffet for dinner knowing the hotel wasn’t walking distance to much but we shouldn’t have. We knew it was expensive for India (£13pp/night) but assumed it’d be a good standard and range of international food. It’s mostly Indian/Asian food, which can get for 1/5th price outside the hotel and had this have been the beginning of our holiday, would have mattered less, but after the same food for 10 days (and we love Indian food), we were hoping for some range. there’s usually 1 or 2 non Asian hot options. One night we went at 9pm and you could tell some of the dishes had been there for hours.

A waiter noticed I wasn’t eating much and offered to cook something else which was really appreciated. Everyone is nice and I get they’re cooking for the majority but it’s not a buffet of an international 5 star hotel in my opinion. We should have ordered a la carte which was far cheaper, when in the hotel.

Other small things - it’s weird there’s a guy in the dark lift all day to press your button, not needed. breakfast was fine but not as much Western variety as other Hilton’s/hotels I’ve been to in Goa. WiFi cuts off regularly and finally, you can’t make your room colder than 21 degrees, I usually like 18!

I know the hotel isn’t at fault for it being busy, I just had expectations of it being chill due to the view. It could do with a second pool for...

Just TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE at Double Tree by Hilton in Panaji. My husband and I stayed checked out of the hotel on the 11th of Jan. The next day, I realised that we had forgotten a few items in the cupboard in our room. I had to call the hotel a total of 9 times just to follow up on this. Each time, the front desk took the details including our room number and the items we had left behind and told me that would check and get back to me. I did not receive a single follow up call on the same. Finally, today after following up with them for the 9th time - they tell me that their staff did not find any of the items. We are 100% sure we left it inside the cupboard - and now after wasting 5 days this is what their response is. This is a very basic level of customer service that you would expect from any hotel that knows what they are doing. Apart from this, the overall service experienced at the hotel and the kind of clientele they have at the hotel was extremely cheap and uncouth. Finally, the hotel allows itself to be completely monopolised by local goons that call themselves taxi services. They claim no other cab services are available - which is complete lies. The hotel recommended cab services charge you more than double the standard rates and are a complete waste. This is by no means even a 3 star experience and we would never stay at a property run by them in India...
