Location 4/5⭐ It's an isolated beach with Lagoon. Road to resort is way too bumpy, hilly and risky. Tropical forest all around which is great. On the front amazing beach view. Sea is not swimmer friendly and definitely not family friendly. Lot of big rocks around at random locations. Steep slope after couple meters in water. Water pulls you in very fast, so you have to be very careful. Beautiful lagoon is available for swim it's also family friendly. Kayaking only is available.
Room Service (2/5⭐) No AC, No Bath Tub, No Continuous hot water. Hot water comes only 1 min and then you'll have to wait another 10 mins to get it heat up again. No intercom in resort. If you want to order even a water bottle.. you have to go walk to reception to get it. Waiter barely comes. I ordered water and they didn't deliver it even after 1 hour passed. I tried calling them but always busy. Only 1 water bottle complimentary. No free drinking water is available. They are too busy serving people sitting near bar area.
Food + Food Service I stayed for 3n4d. Normal Water is unavailable. You have to purchase bottle water everytime.
Night 1 (1/5⭐) - On the first day we reached at 8 o'clock. We ordered Green salad and Veg Chowmin at first. They completely forgot to add Green Olives and capsicum. No seasoning on lower layers of salad. Cucumbers were so bitter. Veg Chowmin is too watery and doesn't taste like anything may be like a Maggie noodles. No other veggies except carrot and capsicum in Chowmin. Almost 150-200gm of capsicum in single dish of Chowmin. I mean who does that??? Then finally I ordered Veg Fried Rice it was good. Worst service had to wait for 30 mins to get the order.
Day 2 Lunch (3/5⭐) - On second day we wanted to have lunch at Bar/Restaurant area. But all seats were occupied. We waited for an hour for seat but no one was moving. When asked management for arranging seat they said they can't tell anyone to move. They don't have management at bar/restaurant area. People smoking a lot. They don't know how to talk to people to give seats to others politely. Then we went to room and ordered lunch. We ordered Veg Manchurian, Veg Jaipuri, Butter Roti and Veg Biryani. It took another 45 mins to get things ready. Everything was good and tasty, presentation was beautiful. Little less salty but it was fine.
Funny thing is they brought Veg Jaipuri First before anything. Then they brought Manchurian and Biryani. Then after 10 mins Roti. 😂 I mean get the basics straight people! They don't know in what order to serve. I think they are understaffed when I went there.
Overall it was good experience but not impressive. You'll enjoy this resort location a lot. Its very peaceful there. I would still re-commend to go there. Managers are nice enough to accept mistakes and...

Read moreBlue lagoon resort is an excellent place to chill out with friends and family but not recommendable for car drive. No proper road to reach the place. Very risky and not advisable for family to drive down the rugged hills. My car Ford eco sport which has a maximum ground clearance didn't climb the hills while returning from the resort. Almost we were dead when the car was unable to climb the high altitude muddy clay road. I drove half the way up and the wheels started rolling, when I applied brakes the vehicle skid backwards almost for 50 mts which was a grave experience. Struggled a lot to climb and did it after getting down my family out of car in the middle of the jungle where they were made to climb the road walking. Strictly not recommendable for kids and ladies. Better would suggest to hire a bike and drive to that resort instead of driving a car. Resort guys never told about the bad condition of roads (actually no roads). Sincere advice do not drive car or don't go with family if you are not an excellent terrain driver. All hatchbacks, Sedans and mini SUVs not recommendable. Or I would recommend to park the cars at a local bus stop which is at the entrance to the resort from tar road and trek the hill down for approx 3 kms. Apart from the road poor condition the resort is an awesome place to refresh and back water lagoons is beautiful to play with kids. Sea is rough and not recommendable for getting to go more deeper. Lot of foreign tourists visiting this beach. Hut cottage rooms are very good, clean and peaceful. Food from restaurant is OK. You cannot expect better than this as this is an isolated paradise. Better to place your order for food 2 hours before as they start cooking only after you place order. 2 days and 1 night stay is recommended. High cautious notice - Do not travel to this resort during rainy season as the mud roads are highly dangerous and skiddy. It will take years to construct the road. I request the resort owner Ajay to lay down proper roads by dealing with local people and we will see to visit this place yearly once if roads are good. Very nice place to visit with friends. Considering current road condition, please do not travel with...
