Caravan Baga Aqua Resort — Hotel in Goa

We stayed there from June 2nd to June 7th and my review is going to be detailed with all the pros and cons listed as below-

Pros- Decent sized rooms with good visibility and small refrigerator in the room. Separate parking right outside for four and two wheelers. Decent sized swimming pool. Two water bottles and a welcome drink provided when you check in. Good location and its near to the beach.

Cons- Poor service quality and you need to call 3-4 times to the reception just to get a mattress. Our first room we checked into Room 101 had a leakage problem which was changed later to Room 201 upon request. Restaurant is okay with overpriced menu items and food is also okay. The water in the taps was stinking a lot which when we asked they told us there is low water level in the wells where they get the water. House keeping is not that great again you need to call 3-4 times just to get them to clean the room and sometimes they give you the reason that there is no one available. You can order food items from Zomato and Swiggy but it needs to be consumed in the rooms but one of the managers told us that it’s not allowed.

1/5 Absolutely disappointing stay – would never recommend

My family and I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. From the very start, things went downhill. Upon arrival, we were made to wait in a small, spare room for about 3 hours because our assigned room wasn’t ready — not a great start to a holiday.

When we finally got to our room (Room 301), we requested an extra mattress as the bed was too small for three people. Despite repeated requests, the mattress only arrived on the second day.

Shockingly, at 4 AM one night, someone started banging on our door. When we opened it, the man claimed it was a “check-in” to see how we were doing — completely inappropriate and alarming at that hour.

On the last day, the mattress we were given was infested with cockroaches and bugs, making it impossible for my husband to sleep comfortably. The hotel provided no toiletries apart from a diluted handwash (mostly water), no drinking water bottles, and the front desk was unmanned for the last two days of our stay.

To make matters worse, stray dogs roamed the premises, and there was no housekeeping or cleaning service provided after the first day, despite our repeated requests.

Overall, this hotel lacks basic hygiene, professionalism, and customer service. I would strongly advise others to avoid it...

Had 3N/4D stay at this hotel.... Almost 50% rooms are empty yet they don't provide you a early check in and will have to pay one day room rent for early check in....

#Hot water not available 24*7 it has a limited solar geyser which by end of day will leave you with only cold water we had suffered had to use cold water in the evening with no option left as the staff will ignore and just tell you to wait will take some time...

#Room balconies are attached to each rooms anybody can easily jump and peep into the next room zero privacy

#Rooms and bathroom are very very very very small

Room door lock security has a digital number lock with all rooms having same password by default cannot be changed either anybody can access and open the door even your neighbours can

#Security at sleep always day/Night

#Breakfast only 4 varieties bread,eggs,watermelon and poha

#Roadside street dogs barking throughout the night which will disturb the sleep as it can be heard inside the room.

#Stricly no to family as the hotel accomodates more of bachelor's who disturbs with loud music all night

#More better options to stay nearby may be at a cheaper price as well avoid this hotel

#Just by having a dirty swimming pool who none would hardly use with unqualified staff and service doesn't make this guest house...
