Golaghat Gymkhana — Hotel in Golaghat

One of famous and best hangout place in Golaghat. It is nearer to Numaligarh Refinery Limited location and Township.

Food Taste- ⭐4/5- Taste is really good as compared to surrounding availability and restraurant option. The important thing is they provide fresh fresh raw material for food like fish, chicken or prawn or vegetables. Food quality- ⭐5/5- Quality is really good and fresh otems were served. Food quantity- ⭐5/5- Quantity is really standard and enough as compared to price list. Safety precautions during covid- ⭐1/5-. No such precaution or awareness were noticed. Even no temp. check at entry. Sanitization process not noticed. Basically no such precautions are missing. Price Rate- ⭐3/5- Quite standard and reasonable price. Menu chart- ⭐3/5- Snapshot is attached. Both Bar and Restaurant menu snapshots are attached. But, menu chart is having variety but many menu items were unavailable during lunch time. Service and Staff reactions- ⭐2/5- Service time is really poor and waiting time is much higher for any order without as such reason. Staff reactions feedback is average. Need improvement for hosting any guest. Have to be patient with guest's query. Ambience- ⭐5/5 Just awesome & perfect greenery all over. Peaceful and calm environment. Place can be enjoyed with/for friends, family, couple and even also for selftime. Restaurant and Bar are perfectly decorated. It is just a perfect gateaway for tourist and for weekend outing.

Visited Gymkhana with an empty stomach and heartful of expectations!

The ambience was decent but how does it matter (?!) I was desperately looking for food..

Ordered chicken soup, chicken lolypop, Naan and Mughlai chicken. Sounds good right? The reality is different.

The chicken soup was okay-ish. Here comes the lolypop bomb! Took the first bite, felt like semi-raw chicken dipped in a bowl of refined oil!

Tearing apart the naan was a serious job. Mmm.. imagine soft version of leather coloured in white. Yes that's it!

Mughlai chicken: Mughals would have killed themselves out of frustration if they were served this shaahi dish.

We discussed about quality, now let's talk about service. The lady at the counter served with the attitude, 'Le kha..marr'

After this adventure with Gymkhana, I paid 834/- and said Goodbye (and never to come back again)

Ofcourse she didn't utter a single word.

Food 2/10 Ambience...

Yes, definitely it was not a good experience for us....1st of all, behaviour was not good towards customers,... feeling uncomfortable, if we talk about food than,...we had ordered one peas pulau and other one veg pulau with mughlai chicken and salad...there is no any difference between two pulau's..almost peas and veg pulau is same in taste..,after that mughlai chicken was not good in taste..so poor..presentation was good but, food taste was not good..they have to improve their food quality...afterall we are paying a good amount of money to them..so, in that sense they have to look out these things properly...they have to serve food nicely to the people...afterall respect and love must needed from the entire staff...
