An Unforgettable Stay at Bobkins Aryans Homestay

Our stay at Bobkins Aryans Homestay in Kasol was nothing short of magical. This family-run gem is a perfect blend of warmth, hospitality, and charm. Bobby Uncle, the main host, welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. We were lucky to get their best room, which had stunning views of the mountains—a dream for anyone seeking serenity.

The peaceful ambiance made it an ideal spot for my work-from-home setup. The calm environment, coupled with the beauty of nature, provided the perfect backdrop for productivity and relaxation.

One of the highlights of our stay was Bobby Uncle’s wife, who is an incredible cook and treated us like family. Her homemade desserts, especially those made on Christmas Eve and other random days, were such a thoughtful gesture that added to the homely experience.

The homestay is a reflection of Bobby Uncle’s creativity and love for design, with a unique hippie vibe and ingenious use of recycled materials. Every corner has a story and an artistic touch.

We also had the pleasure of meeting their sons, Raj and Dev. Both were incredibly friendly and added so much to our experience. Dev, in particular, made our stay even more special by baking a delicious brownie cake for my fiancée’s birthday and celebrating it with us in such a warm and memorable way. Late-night conversations with him were unforgettable—his kindness and philosophical outlook were truly inspiring. Oh, and his cooking was a delightful bonus!

Spending a month here was an emotional journey. Leaving this place and these wonderful people brought tears to our eyes, but we’re already planning to return for a shorter visit to relive this beautiful experience.

I stayed here for 1 month and what started as a pleasant experience quickly turned to an early checkout where I forfeited two nights advance payment. Homestay staff (arjan) would be high on drugs and alcohol every night and create chaos in a drunk stupor. On my last night they got drunk and started banging on my door late at night, followed by staff fighting with each other using foul language and yelling all night...I was even followed on my way out where they blocked my way from leaving. I felt threatened and unsafe. Bobby is very hospitalable and proper and should either remove the people who created a scene from the property or make a rule where they are not allowed to drink on...
