We enjoyed three peaceful days here, appreciating the clean and tidy environment. The staff were exceptionally polite and always ready to assist, enhancing our stay with their helpfulness.

The rooms offer amazing views of the Kinner Kailash mountain range, especially from rooms 102 and 103, which come with a clear sight of the snow-clad peaks. The food was decent, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

Nearby activities include easy access to the bus stand and Old Kalpa, with its rich heritage monuments, ancient fort, monastery, and Hindu temple.

I visited Kalpa as a part of a multi day trip through Kinnaur and Spiti. Of the different places I visited through the different valleys, I liked Kalpa the best due to its unique setting - it sits atop a high ridge and is ensconced on three sides by mountains that are separated from it by a deep valley of the river sutlej. This enables the visitor, at an altitude of 3000 meters where kalpa is to not only look above at the high himalayan mountains (many peaks exceed 6000 meters) but also look down well over a kilometer to the valley floor. I liked Kalpa so much that I stayed there four nights. I ate at blue lotus throughout - they have the best view of the mountains and a very good kitchen. However, I stayed a bit off at another guest house thanks to a very noisy group that showed up around the same time that I did. I'll try to provide a review separately for that. Free wifi, Clean Rooms, Best views from the rooms, pocket friendly rates (from Rs.600-1200), Restaurant, Bike Parking, 24hrs running water, geyser are the facilities available.
