Read moreJingle jungle can be an excellent choice for trekkers and other tourists in Kalga. The views are breathtaking (I personally checked out many homestays and concluded that the views here were the best) and the property is appropriately located not too close to the noise, yet not too far from everything you'll need. The food is homely and the owners and help will make sure your stay is comfortable and you have what you need. Common washrooms were always clean and hygienic in my experience. Everything was as affordable as is possible and you are not likely to find better rates in and around kalga, not to mention that the stay is surrounded by the best of nature including serene greenery and apple orchards. The stay includes a small garden space surrounded by the prettiest sunflowers, and has few wooden log seats that can be a very comfortable spot for a bonfire at night. This can be a little inconvenient if you're carrying heavy luggage, but that will be the case for all stays at Kalga (so pack light!). All pictures below are from the balcony of the first floor...

They have hot water & were also working on adding a western style WC when I visited here last week. They cook very good food and the menu provides plenty of options to choose from. They may even take personal requests if you ask nicely. Unlike other homestays, this one affords you a place in the heart of Kalga with farms surrounding the property. They have a cozy little "cafe" where all the guests gather for meals or coffee, you are free to play some music on their sound system too. I love the general vibe of this place and would definitely stay here if I go to...
