LORD SHIVA DIMENSION-Best Room/Hotel/Cottage in Tosh — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

Location: 25 minute hike from Tosh. Right across from the dam and near the Tosh waterfall. Good view of the Parvati mountain. But not worth the isolation and effort.

Food: The only good dish was the poori and Alu Bhaji. Rest were all mediocre.

Property: Not well kept or neat. If you enjoy garbage and refuse at the edge of the property, its okay. Lots of plastic waste strewn about in the common area. Stray dogs chewing on scraps. Cafe looks worn out and dirty even though the property is new.

Rooms: Shoddily constructed with plaster and plywood. Floor is uneven and untiled. Bathroom doesnt have a wash basin. Water seeps out of the bathroom door. You can hear the happenings in the adjoining bathroom easily. Openings and gaps let the cold air through. Had to use three blankets to stay warm in -7 to -8 degrees. Room door latches dont work. They also hesitate to give you the key to lock your own door.

Facilities: Power outage for a whole day when I visited. Their generator was not working. Blankets had big holes in them. I had to ask them twice in two days to give...

Very pleasant experience. Local cafés or shops are far away from this place but people can choose to have food inside the property. Taste of the food is really good. Views are very good of the valley from this stay. Nishu and Sandy both the guys are just awesome. They are very helpful. Please try to come during day light as it could be difficult to find the place. However, local people or shops can guide to find the place or you can call Nishu/Sandy to get a better direction. Never would I ever recommend to stay here. It is located at the END of tosh. You will have to trek for 2 hours through steep hills and dangerous waterfalls to reach this stay. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. The rooms are basic. Bathrooms have no geyser. You will find multiple stays in the city center. This place should be your LAST OPTION. Do not take it lightly when I say you will have to go to the end of tosh to visit this place. There is nothing after this stay. It is downhill and the last place in tosh. Do not waste your energy.
