Regal retreat — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

Photos and Reality both very much different.

Struggle start with very narrow approach road and huge potholes on it, your car want able to pass through it in 1st go so except XUV don't dare to plan your visit(narrow approach road to hotel distance is more than 1km and on hill so not possible to go through walk)..

Next is when you reach at hotel, room are very old(In photo they have uploaded photos of tree house room may be which they have made just to photoshoot), bathroom is in worst condition and they are providing nothing, you need to ask for water, kettles ets(they are providing only 1 bottle between 3 person!!!). Bed is extremely bad and very hard. Last but not least worst food. we have taken full package including dinner and breakfast however in dinner they served roti with maida and without ghee or butter, if you need butter roti you need to pay extra(after paying ~2000 bucks for dinner and breakfast you need to provide money for butter- super crazy), panner greavy has just water, dal has no taste. Now come to breakfast, again alu Paratha made with maida, tea has just water, bread is 2-3 days old you feel from touch. All and all just waste of money. Moreover thay won't stick with commited timing and dinner timing from 8 and it started at 8:30, same for breakfast.

This less rating is due to misguiding in photo vs reality. Thry need to show whatever they are providing and don't misguide people..

Few good part: Out side room ambiance is excellent, you can take photos and impress Facebook & Instagram friends but for that you need to compromise for room after providing healthy room charges. Snooker also available so again few photos can be taken while playing and interested people can enjoy it, it's free of cost.. People are polite and supportive if you ask they try to resolve your issue.

All in all I wan't recommend as price is very high with no reward and much issues..

Here my learning is don't book hotel till you have atleast 200-300 review with 4+ rating. Next time onwards I will stick with it as initial review...

I had a very unpleasant experience at Regal Retreat Hotel near Kasol. The staff behaved in an unprofessional and dishonest manner. They initially told our driver that he would be provided complimentary meals as part of the staff arrangement, but later added heavy charges for it in our final bill without informing us in advance They follow the same deceitful practice with guests as well—promising certain services and then charging unexpectedly high amounts later. It seems like a planned way to cheat travelers. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this hotel. The management appears to be involved in shady practices and cannot be trusted.
