Desert King Resort — Hotel in Gujarat

Disclaimer I went with a tour operator, I didn't book resort directly. Place ticks of typically things of list - neat & clean room, spacious room, hot water in bathroom ( 6 to 9/10 am only) evening very low Lukewarm do that can be bit of challenge during winter but can be managed (bathroom is almost big as one room). Food is authentic Gujarati for all course breakfast, Lunch and dinner with occasionally paneer sabji or few other items, of given option just go for Gujarati food. Morning breakfast we were usually served 2 items once we got sandwich & hot thepalas and next day aloo paratha & upma both times with lasoon chutney & ketchup and tea & coffee. Lunch/dinner usually had 2/3 sabji with roti, dal/rice or khichi kadhi, cut tomatoes and onions, Lunch had sweet but not in evening, chaas is served on table, one farsan. All food is well prepared and served hot. Night they arrange for local folk music & bonfire, nice time pass. Property is well spread out, with 10-15 rooms only. Few rooms are bigger it has veranda/balcony but even smaller rooms are sufficient for 3 adults. Construction is unique in winter rooms are bit warm compared to outside temperature so you feel really nice inside room. No or hardly any phone network around area, so be prepared or carry MTNL/BSNL mobile. No WiFi too. Overall...

The desert king resort This is by far the best place i have ever stayed in my whole life. It is situated 10-15km before kutch white desset. Superb location. You can experience serene stay with awesome hospitality in their traditional homes called as "BHUNGA". Especially made up of mud work and wooden crafts with superb interior. They have two types of the same A/C & non-A/c ones. They also have inhouse restaurant with variety of food of your taste. They have done a good job developing and maintaining such a beautiful place in a way that every Bhunga is a unique one with unique design elements and you can see sunrise on one side and moon rise on another thats how it is designed. I have visited this place twice and i m amazed and still nostalgic to this place. Staying here wl create a life long mesmerizing experience.
