We were a family group of 11 persons visiting the Rann Utsav on our maiden holiday trip. We had chosen to stay at the Rann Visamo Village stay, based on our instincts. ||||However, our 3-nights stay at the facility turned out to be a memorable experience, to be cherished forever. Our accommodation was in quaint & pretty, βdesignerβ mud huts, which have an eclectic mix of rich Kutchi tradition & basic modern comforts. The ambience of the resort place is truly an βout of the worldβ experience, with its still nights, amidst star soaked skies, aromatic freshness of the morning air & the lazy languidness of the afternoons. The village scene is made complete, with reasonably priced, local artefacts on display & sale, as well as traditional musicians entertaining you in the late evenings, as you sit on the green lawns, under open sky, across the lit fireplace, in cosy comfort. The food is another highlight - authentic kutchhi cuisine, basic & simple food, with unlimited helpings and served with lots of love, warmth & respect. Service & hospitality are highlights of this place. ||||Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the Rann Visamo Village Stay & would recommend this place to all those interested in a truly village kind of stay, when visiting the Great...
Β Β Β Read moreI was blessed to experience GARBA in Gujrat this year. After one night stay in Ahmedabad I and my friend had planned to visit the Rann of Kutch. Although not the best time to visit Kutch as the white desert was not completely dry we had a pleasure to see the kuch with water as well as the white desert. Coming to the best part of our visit was the RANN VISAMO. The beauty of the bhungas and itβs mud paintings will leave you amazed. Itβs hygienic, clean and quiet. A special mention of βGAGAN BHAIβ who hosted us and invited us to his village to attend garba. He is a warm, soft and an amazing human being. It was a blissful experience with the people there who taught us garba and helped us gel with the energetic environment in very little time. Finally, if you are planning to visit RANNUTSAV then Iβll recommend you to stay in RANN VISAMO. Itβs close to the Rann of Kutch, Dholavira and Kala Dungar. Youβll definitely have a great time β€οΈ (Amazing Gujrati dinner and breakfast was...
Β Β Β Read moreBelow I summarize my stay at Rann Visamo :
Pros :
Near to Tent city as well as Kala dungar.
The place is clean and price is a bit less compared to other resorts in White Rann.
Hot water available always , the staff is prompt and tries to help as much as possible.
They have Live music and Camp fire which is really good.
Cons :
Food specially Breakfast doesn't have any options. They only have one item for breakfast with Bread which I feel is very very less as per their Fare.
You won't get any network in the whole resort except BSNL. If you stay in Resorts near Tent city you may get network
As they say it's a Village stay so forget about things like Intercom service. Incase you need anything you need to physically go to the reception even in chilling cold.
The tents are not advisable as they are colder inside. The Bhungas are very...
