we booked it assuming it's a safe brand. the overall experience was bad, it seems to be an old property which lacks maintenance and is being run by local owner (or even bell boys) without any managers around. the whole experience with Ginger has been bad and we have decided not to use Ginger hotels in the future. when we checked in the room the corridor was all filthy and never cleaned in the recent few weeks. the bathroom had sand and smelled like urine (probably coming from the drainage). we called HK to come and clean and he never showed up, we had to clean it ourselves. while we booked the second day with them, we realised in the morning how bad the bedsheets were. there were stains all over and none of the bedsheets or cushion covers were clean. the first night I went to the reception and confirmed that I had booked for the second night and asked them to extend the same room for 2 nights instead of one, the guy (no manager was ever in sight) at the reception said, yes he has extended the room for two days, next day again before leaving I checked and confirmed at the reception and this time he said, no sir, we need to check you out and check you in again, but before that you need to pay up any outstanding bills, because I was short on time, I did not argue and paid the bill.. but then again later the same evening, I get a call from the hotel asking when will I check out and my baggage is still in the room, and again I had to explain the whole story
food options are limited, but the quantity was good, we ordered dal khichdi and dal tadka rice. these certainly were not close to a 4 or 5 star standards, but was decent and the quantity was good. the service was slow and since we were on ala carte, probably ignored
breakfast had similar options as in other Gujarat stays (idli, uttapam, sambhar, chutney, fruits, juice ,tea coffee, milk, toast, bread, butte, jam, Puri bhaji, poha and upma). the quality of the whole food was substandard and breakfast could be skipped

Our overall experience was truly pleasant and memorable. We arrived around 12 midnight by train, and even before our arrival, the hotel team proactively called to confirm our booking and offered support for a smooth check-in. The room allotted was very neat, clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, and all amenities were neatly arranged in the room — showing great attention to detail. The next morning, I enjoyed a peaceful morning walk in front of the hotel — there’s ample open space and a calm atmosphere. The breakfast at the restaurant was tasty and satisfying. Dinner at the hotel was delicious and freshly prepared, and the restaurant staff — especially the girl serving us — were polite, attentive, and courteous. The reception team (both the young man and woman on duty) were extremely helpful in arranging a taxi for our Dwarkadish Temple visit and other nearby pilgrim places, including Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Rukminidevi Temple, Shivrajpur Beach, Gomti Ghat, and several smaller temples. It was a busy day in the city due to the President’s visit, but the staff made everything smooth for us. On the day of departure, the team even helped us arrange an auto at 3:30 AM to drop us at Dwarka Railway Station in time to catch the Vande Bharat Express at 4 AM. The hotel is conveniently located right on the national highway, away from the city’s noise, offering a peaceful and safe environment. Read moreWe were reaching Dwarka station, and from there, we tried calling the reception, and the lady working in the reception did not have a basic courtesy to answer the call after calling 8 times They did not answer the call. Finally, I had to ask someone else and take the map to reach the hotel. After reaching the hotel. They gave me a room which was totally totally and hygiene. AC was leaking water. Toilet totally unhygienic. It was stinking so badly and when we asked at the reception to come and check it out for next 20 minutes, they did not reply, housekeeping team. They just came after 25 minutes and they were not having a single bird in returns of my question. When I asked him to repay my amount and let me go to some other property. They said that is not possible. This is the reason I believe they take the money from the customer in advance because they know that they are going to give us the pathetic service, and because of the service, the client might not pay. I asked them to change the room for that. Also they said give us a time and for next 30 minutes. They asked me to wait in that unhygienic unhealthy room. My room number was room number 312 on third floor, I checked in on 25 May 2024. Today being the second day, and the flush is not working in the toilet, and when you asked them to come and check about the flush complain, they are it is not working. Is it no problem we will see what can we do so if you guys planning to come and stay in the hotel be prepared, then you need to flush your toilet by your own that without the water, it is the worst hotel.
