--ROOM: The room was very spacious. Although the decor is perhaps not as refined as the hotels in Venice or Milan, it is very fitting for the hotel. It felt very much like I had my own apartment because there was so much space.

--STAFF: Wow, the manager and staff were so very welcoming. They always wanted to know how I was doing and offer any assistance. They were so nice, and I could tell they really wanted everyone to make the most of Florence and feel like they were "at home." It was lovely.

--BREAKFAST: The breakfast was very large--you had many options including many pastries. I had never had anything like those and had some each day.

Overall, this was my favorite hotel --even if the furnishings --the overall inviting and personal staff really made it a lovely stay....
