Hotel Sun Plaza — Hotel in Gujarat

It is an alright hotel if you want to just focus on having a resting place. The cleanliness is upto the mark. One particular staff member was a disappointment.

I reached the hotel at around 6 a.m. The hotel staff should be aware of such a popular early train, and should know that most travellers would request for an early check in.

The receptionist didn't even know I had already booked a room online, that is a sign of arrogance. Until prompted, no one came outside to take our bags.

I was travelling with my parents, who are both senior citizens. The receptionist spoke extremely rudely to my father. We were certainly not welcomed. Instead of making comments, you should just ask for extra payment for early checkin!

I booked a premium executive room, and I don't know if that particular staff member was pissed at us checking in early, he gave us a room in which the hand shower, the intercom etc didn't work. And the room definitely wasn't "premium".

We complained, and very arrogantly he gave us a different room, with no intercom. These guys clearly did not prepare a room in advance. My mom had to go to the reception every time she wanted assistance for room service.

The hand shower was not a conventional one; clothes got wet everytime we used it.

And this apparently three star, Goibibo recommended hotel, does not have a kettle.

I would like to give a five star to the other staff members, and the service. They were polite and...

I would suggest everyone to avoid this hotel at any cost.

Our plan was to stay at this hotel for 2 nights but it was so bad we left after 1 night and avoided this place at all times and went there only to sleep. First and foremost this Hotel stinks, because of its close proximity to fishing. The stench was so bad it was overwhelming and was omnipresent. When we complained the staff response was “we cant smell anything and we are habitual” highly rude and unapologetic staff, I asked them to change the rooms which they later obliged. Secondly the rooms are not at all maintained and bedding stank of usage and sweat. The AC remotes were not working in any of the rooms and we had to get the batteries replaced. 1 room didn’t have the kettle and the other room didn’t have intercom. Thirdly they dont have card machine to pay the bills when asked they again blamed it on the POS machines being unreliable. Last but not the least the unethical thing they tried, when I asked about the bills they didn’t provide me for the room service (tea and milk) and told since they don’t charge GST they wont provide one after insisting that I will pay the GST but need a bill finally they gave me one.

The place is run by incompetent staff and unethical management, please...
