Lords Inn Somnath — Hotel in Gujarat

I notice below few things during my 2 night stay here with my family.

(1) The swimming pool is not for us. It's mainly used by the pigeons and No one even available to maintain swimming pool so its the fist biggest disappointment for us. We want to use swimming pool and thats the reason of our booking here at lords inn somnath but sadly not able to use it. I also took clips of swimmingpool .

(2) Food is the most important thing for us but the food quantity is very less . We are south indian food lover but sadly it's available only in morning breakfast time so its again disappointment for us and the biggest disappointment is for kids because no complementary food is offered/available for kids and we have to request everytime in every order for that. Normally kids under 5 or 6 years prefer to eat south indian foods ( Dosa , Idly Sambhar etc) but its not available in lunch and dinner both. In addition to above the food service in room is not recommended. For example : we order tomato soup so they come with soup only without bread crumps so for that we have to request again for bread crumps and it will take time to come . Because of unsuitable food here for kids i have to go out and brings fruits for my kid as the staff is also not helpful to arrange fruits after we offer to pay all the charges for our fruits.

All the items in morning breakfast are cold and not look fresh because of that I drink only tea and coffee in morning breakfast.

(3) Play area for kids is not good . Slider is only one and it's very old in condition too. Another 2 items at kids area is almost same in condition . So kids are getting bored for sure as kids area equipment seems not useful for them .

We are expecting all above basic things and for that we are spending higher amount for our stay but sadly its not fulfilled here at Lords Inn somnath will never stay here again .

The rest of the other things are good like good parking space , Location etc.

In short, it's not kids friendly and the basic things we required during our stay is not fulfilled here which we are expecting during our stay . I also want to submit my feedback to hotel and requested feedback form but they are not providing it as well so really worst experience with Lords Inn...

One of the best hotels ever that I have ever stayed at! I was so surprised to see that the hotel property is as beautiful as it is in the photos on Google. In spite of being in a temple town, the kind of amenities, food and luxury they provide is truly worth recommending and appreciating. The rooms are huge with such great beds, the cleanest bathrooms, continuous hot water and an extra pull-out bed in all rooms. Every corner of this hotel is so clean and smells so good, which is a rarity, for hotels near beaches. The Somnath temple is just 1.5kms away and the location is great too. Coming to the restaurant and food part, I have never had a more lavish buffet breakfast than that at Lord's Inn, Somnath. There were at least 30 different items on the menu including fafda, dhokla, 3 types of chutneys, boondi, sev, veg sandwiches, cheese, 3 juices, milkshakes, cereals, poha, parantha, Puri, subzi, idli, methi gota, vada, sambar, 2 South Indian chutneys, dosas, breads, pancakes, muffins and more...the list is endless. They even have lunch and dinner buffets with more number of dishes than that in the breakfast and at such great prices and their menu is so so diverse which include Indian, Thai, Chinese and pastas too. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant and the courtesy of every single staff is truly worth mentioning. The restaurant staff even packed us breakfast early in the morning since we had to start our day early. By the time we came down, the breakfast was ready and packed, waiting at the reception. I have never seen any other hotel in India which puts out such a huge breakfast buffet spread, all ready at 6.45am in the morning. A special shout out to the hotel manager Mr. Hemanta and the entire staff for all their help and courtesy they extended to us during our stay. I recently had the pleasure of staying at hotel Lords Inn Somnath during a family trip, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby to the time of my departure, the level of service provided was exceptional.

Upon check-in, I was greeted warmly by the reception staff, who efficiently processed my reservation and provided all necessary information about the hotel amenities and local attractions. Throughout my stay, every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to assist.

The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of trip. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring guest comfort did not go unnoticed.

However, what truly impressed me was the level of assistance I received when I realized I had left behind my shirt in my room upon checkout. Panicked, I immediately contacted the front desk, and to my relief, they assured me that they would do everything possible to locate and return the item to me.

Within a matter of hours, I received a call from the hotel staff informing me that they had found the item and arranged for it to be shipped to my address. Their promptness and professionalism in handling the situation alleviated my worries and left a lasting impression of their dedication to customer satisfaction.

Overall, my experience at hotel Lords inn Somnath was nothing short of excellent. The combination of top-notch facilities, outstanding service, and genuine care for guests' needs makes it a standout choice for accommodation in the area.
