The resort boasts multiple restaurants serving a diverse menu, with delectable options ranging from Indian and Chinese to continental and South Indian specialties. The breakfast buffet is impressive, with dishes like fresh chilla and coconut chutney consistently mentioned for their delightful flavors. We stayed at the Regency Lagoon Resort in Rajkot in October 2025 as a family of four and 2 grandparents, and overall, we had a really pleasant and relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful, with a lush, tropical feel that makes the resort look and feel peaceful from the moment you arrive. It’s a calm setting where the children could wander, explore, and enjoy being outdoors.||We booked the Maharani Suite, which worked very well for us as a family. The separate living area was spacious enough for two trundle beds for our children, and we still had plenty of room to move around. The suite was clean, tidy, and well maintained throughout our stay. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly — they made us feel comfortable, which is always appreciated when travelling with kids.||There were, however, a couple of things that didn’t quite meet expectations. We experienced ongoing issues with the hot water, which isn’t ideal when trying to get the whole family showered and ready. The pool was also not as clean as we would have hoped, and since swimming is such a highlight for children, this was a bit of a let-down. I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my marriage anniversary with my family at Regency Lagoon Resort, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the energy of the staff was palpable, making us feel truly welcomed and taken care of.

The ambiance was serene and luxurious, with the resort providing us with a private space for our dinner, which added an intimate touch to the celebration. The stewards name Chandan and Anand Barla went the extra mile by singing a beautiful song during our cake-cutting ceremony, which made the moment even more special. Service throughout the evening was not only quick but exceptionally attentive. The food was outstanding and delicious, served in generous portions, and clearly made with love. A special highlight of the evening was when two chefs personally came to meet us, offering his warm wishes on our anniversary. This personal touch really elevated the entire experience. The heritage charm of the resort is simply captivating. With its beautiful monuments, ponds, and heritage-style rooms, it creates a perfect setting for any occasion. It’s also a great spot for families, with ample space for children to play and a pool to relax by. Overall, it was an exceptional experience, and I would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxurious, personal, and memorable celebrations.
