Hotel Kimaya — Hotel in Haryana

My husband and I along with few other friends went to visit Kurukshetra. Booked this hotel. The rooms are never swept i think and the sheets did not look as if they have been washed. They had some filthy stains. The towel left in the room to use was ripped and is like a rag. We knew that it is not a 5 star hotel when we booked and we were not expecting too much. But clean sheets and clean room and bathroom are the least one needs to get in any accommodation. Went to have dinner in their restaurant. We were served Potato and cauliflower vegetable that was stale. The Potato was on the way out and smelt foul. We sent the dish back. They did not charge for that but they should not be serving that in the first place. I am really surprised with the good reviews the hotel has been given. The only plus point is that the people working there are very nice. But they just dont know how to maintain a clean hotel. Never going back and never going to recommend that...

My friends and I are regulars at this hotel for food. I've never tried the rooms or party halls, so I won't comment on them. The food is great. I have loved their Kohlapuri chicken, their chef's special chicken, their malaai kofta (quantity is limited to two koftas), and garlic naans, these would be personal recommendations. I have been to this hotel many times. When it was newly opened in our area there were not much people coming for dinner. But now whenever we go with family, its having good rush of people coming for dinner and it is always a nice experience when it comes to dinner in kimaya. The rooms are fine but now not as what you can expect in the price you are paying. The location is easily reachable by auto or the local bus comes to the bus stand situated near the hotel. Must try...
