Below is my feedback, I am not sure if anyone is going to read this or take any actions but still I’ll give a try and hopefully someone takes some actions.
Starting with the hotel rooms no where in your booking process you mention that half of your property is one the other side of the road and there is no beach to be seen, crossing a road and going to beach is not a holiday experience anyone wants to have when you pay a hefty amount.
The rooms are too old, bed sheet is too old and looks too dirty, the rooms are so dimly lighted. I understand it’s a honeymoon destination but no every tourist comes here for honeymoon. People come here with children etc. Have proper lighting in the rooms, it makes the room lively.
When you hve wooden rooms up and lower when someone is walking on the 1st floor it feels like the whole floor will fall down, you should do something about it, because you are charging a expensive amount from people.
Your front desk staff is the worst I’ve seen. I was with a infant and there was no consideration to show some respect to take luggage from the mother. This is a basic hygiene of the hotel industry. No one just cared. Gave room keys for cleaning and when came back the room was not cleaned. The staff has an attitude where no one cares about anything, if you want to survive train your staff. During checkout no one asked about how your stay was etc etc. simply the worst behaviour.
The behaviour of the restaurant staff is also not great. Every hotel pays attention to needs of infant children. When asked to prepare aalu paratha for my child. The look given by the staff was that they are doing a favour for me. Change your restraunt manager and re train your staff.
All your staff needs attitude change, they are not fit for even 1 star hotel.
The only good point was private beach which is even better tha Taj Havelock and the staff at the bar they were awesome and the lady singing the live song.
Please retrain your staff, your location in awesome to be the best resort...
Read moreI went on February and stayed in silver sand in havelock imsland for 5 days. We tried all different resort room by checking out each day and checking in to their other rooms. Their rooms are very comfortable and very peacefull. But their rooms price are quite expensive. It cost 19000 inr per night for the stay. But in havelock island, all the good comfortable resort with good amenities price starts itself from 15000 inr. So, as compared to to other resort , this resort is the best investment for comfortable and peaceful vacations. One of the best amenities I loved about this resort
its attach to beach and its well maintained and so clean. *if you stay in this resort , you don’t need go out and explore much. You can stay inside resort and enjoy beach view or get the spa from the resort. breakfast buffet was excellent and there were so many options for the vegetarian and non vegetarian too. But I felt the menu price were quite high. I loved their lagoon spot room , it was near to the beach the best part of their resort are , it’s so blended with nature. You ll see all the cocunut trees, bird chirping, so quiet, no disturbance, no nuisance and their staffs are very polite. I didn’t enjoyed their lunch n dinner buffet, because vegetarian options were limited. But there is punjabi restaurant outside their resort ( aao ji, khao ji Punjabi restaurant ) which was very delicious and price was affordable, so you can eat from outside .
I loved early morning walk to the beach and evening walk to the beach.
Things I didn’t like -
Check out timing 9am ( since we are here for vacations, and check out should be atleast 11am)
My suggestion to the traveller Try to book their lagoon room( it’s near to beach, swimming pool) Carry mosquito repellent 😄 Try to book room as early as you can , because their rooms are sold out most of the time.
Over all, it was...
Read moreThis property is absolutely beautiful. It exceeded all of our expectations. The private beach was the real winner, because it’s pristine and beautiful. A lovely place to hang out at night too. The staff were friendly and helpful. But again, my issue with this place (and the other silver sand properties) is the food is expensive and the menu is limited. I went down the street to “something different” - which is an award winning restaurant- and the prices were much cheaper with WAY more variety and tasted amazing! Everything I got from the silver sand restaurant was just okay. And not worth the price. Breakfast was also really disappointing. My biggest issue I had was that we ordered a desert and 2 cokes to our room. Upon delivery, the staff informed us that they ran out of cokes but went outside to buy 2…. But they were still charging us 18% gst 😅🤣 for each coke!! That didn’t even come from their property. I just felt it was a little dishonest. I could have walked out myself to get them and saved that 18% (x2) since they didn’t even come from their kitchen. Anyway, it was weird and put a bad taste in my mouth .. but the place was mostly worth it and I would definitely come back. I’ll just plan otherwise for food! I will also say that the room was spacious, but the air flow was not great. We felt hot every night. The curtains were quite small and therefore light leaked into the room every morning at 5 am. I expected a 4 star hotel to have better window coverage for good sleep. The furniture seemed a bit dated and old. The bathroom sink was SO high up. I’m a short girl so washing my face and brushing my teeth was hilarious because the sink was pretty...
