Hotel Lake Paradise, Barot – Very Disappointing Stay 😞

This is an honest review – I have no personal grudges against the owner or staff. I’m just sharing what I experienced.

I was given Room No. 211, and the moment I entered, I was shocked. The bed sheet was dirty, and when I lifted it, silverfish 🪳 were crawling all over. I also found bidi and cigarette butts 🚬 behind the bed, with more insects around. It was extremely unhygienic and poorly maintained 🧼❌. I asked the staff to clean the room, change the bed sheet, and spray something like HIT around. They did it, but it felt half-hearted. The room became barely acceptable to sleep in. Honestly, this hotel seems more suitable for people who just want to party 🥴 and crash for the night, and don’t care about hygiene. Hotel lake paradise is situated just in front of the PWD guest house and is on the main road. |Hotel has ample parking and rooms are situated on 1st floor via metal stairs. ||There is a family suite as well as for couples, basic amneties are provided including beds, tv, geysers in washrooms and toiletries. |Beds are comfortable and has enough switches and charging points. |Just outside the room wheat fields are there which provides for great view as the first sun rays fall. ||The food is an issue definitely that one has to manage from nearby there are lot of cafes. |Dinner too is till 8.30 max. ||In short a budget guest house with a...

Travel Date: 28th June 2021 to 01st July 2021 We got a River Side View room for an affordable price. Hotel is located at a central place so that everything is near to it like Market, Hospital etc.

Initially, we booked for 2 days, but we loved the valley so we booked the same room for another 2 days at less price because Chauhan ji didn't bother at all...

WiFi is not there, but 4g was so strong that we were easily doing Work from Mountains...

We didn't took meal in our Booking, but the Food was really tasty in the Dhabas in nearby market. I guess the Hotel's food can also be tried.
