It was very pleasant stay at hotel shining star shimla. Major things are.. Very clean hotel, staff obedient and very polite It is in the lap of hills in Shimla It's name is just like it looks very shining.. Food and breakfast is of very good quality and hyegenic, hot served in cold atmosphere.. Neat and clean bathroom and gallery Sceinic beauty from window and gallery Spacious seating in waiting outside rooms. Terrace with unforgettable sceinaries surrounding, terrace garden, julla for kids and even for adults, best pic points Hotel in deep slope of around 100 meters make you exercise dily while going nd coming to..However they provide pickup and drop facility on arrival and departure for ourselves and our luggage..so no issues to be kept in mind while Booking.. however aged person may get little difficulty... Owners resident is above the hotel, so services assured.. No stay facility separately for drivers, however they arrange food and bath facility for them. No parking possible and there is difficult passage for vehicle (except maruti alto and eon hundai like cars) Markets available just within 100 meters (one or two shops) and rest after crossing 100 meters. It's memorable after leaving Bathroom with exhaust fan and hot water facility Food available on demand 16.Great...

We are from Sri Lanka. We stayed 2 nights booked 3 rooms through our agent. When we reached there, it was 6am. They welcome us well,facilitated and everything was good.

Location : The hotel is in a very disadvantaged location but it is in the Shimla town itself. There is a heavy slopy road to reach the hotel. But the Hotel Management is really strategic there, so if u contact them and coordinate with them, they will come to the main road ( 50m away) and take you to the hotel by their own cars. Your Driver can take his car without a hazzle. Going back from the hotel is same way. They take you to the main road by their vehicles.

Foods : They dont have a buffet. But for the morning we got Jam and bread and an indian food both. Foods were good.

Rooms : Clean, good.

Management : Very supportive. All the indian hotels have round sockets, not adoptable for our phone chargers. The Manager provided us a charger. Thanks !

Cons Location is not good. You have to step down around 200 mtrs for hotel. Hotel will provide one time pick and drop through car while check in and check out time only. Rest you have make your legs so strong to reach the point where your cab will pick you.you have to stop 3-4 times and take deep breath to reach to your cab every time you step out of hotel. Food disappointed me so much. Two night dinner I got dal( dal arhar dal and urad dal)and (aloo gobi and aloo matar) with plain roti and plain onion. Brkfast aloo paratha and sandwich with tea. No variety in food. So Simple food that coming so far and having this kind of food. No raita no beverage nothing. Pros Staff behavior is good. Cleaniness is good View from my...
