I have been to most luxurious to smallest of hotels and home stays across India and some global as well. However I would Like to clearly call out the pros and cons here. I am a level 8 google reviewer so my reviews are more in detail and comparative to give you better idea. Room No 204 or 207 don’t remember clearly
Pros : The housekeeping staff is the most active here and very responsive to all your needs. The hotel room service first told me a no to ‘kadhi chawal’ at 4pm but this is where 5 star proves another, they then called me back and said they will prepare for me, so a quick brownie point for me. Room is comfortable and nice, the bathroom is decently sized but no bathtubs. Balcony in room so good view of the valley.
Cons: Do not pick this room no or take if offered as it is one level below the restaurant serving all meals, so we couldn’t sleep till 11pm as there was noise of moving chairs and people walking above . Complained to reception but their response is this will go on till 10:30pm and they cannot do anything .
we all woke up at 1am realising the room has become super hot thanks to their central heater but the point is they dint know how to keep it cozy and under control. The room temperature peaked at 30C. I walked up to the reception at 1:30 am because at my first call they immediately sent someone but issue was not fixed even after 30 mins, so I decided to go to reception and check. They said some guests request us to keep heater so they turned it but they do not have valid reason on why it turned so warm , they dint know how to manage the temperature to maintain normal inside.
The food choices are very limited for a 5 star hotel. It is severely low and choices are very limited , For breakfast they hardly had about 7-10 main course buffet options and for live counter only 2 type of dosas and one standard Partha option. Staff at restaurant also need to get efficient some things took multiple reminders to get for us. For me food is a big let down, the moong dal halwa was terrible and filled with khoa. Terribly disappointed with food menu, taste and service.
Major cons - Internet dint work throughout the stay and they just maintained server is down. Surprising a property like this has mo control over basics! They are not in a remote place where this...
Read moreMy wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at jüSTa Cliffend Resort & Spa in Mashobra, and it was an experience we'll cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the resort's breathtaking location, nestled amidst lush oak forests and offering panoramic views of the Himalayas.
The resort itself is a haven of luxury and comfort. Our room was spacious, elegantly designed, and featured a private balcony that provided stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The infinity pool, with its mesmerizing vistas, was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty.

Read moreWe recently stayed at Justa Cliffend and, unfortunately, had an unpleasant dining experience. Due to snowfall, we were delayed in reaching the restaurant, which had a closing time of 10:30 PM. We reached at 10:35 PM and had informed them multiple times that we were just a few minutes away. Despite our repeated requests, the staff strictly refused to serve us at the restaurant, stating that everything had been packed. While they offered us packed food, we requested them to plate and serve it warm at the restaurant, which they also denied.
The experience continued to disappoint the next morning at breakfast. The dishes lacked flavor — the vermicelli was bland, the dosa was excessively salty, and the idli had no taste at all. To make matters worse, the staff was not open to receiving feedback, which we found to be unprofessional and not conducive to improving guest experiences.
Additionally, the washroom in our room lacked basic amenities like soap and towels, which is completely unacceptable at this level of service. We had to request these multiple times before they were provided, which was highly inconvenient and unexpected.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations and left us dissatisfied. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their service, food quality, staff behavior, and attention to guest needs.
In my words, I will never recommend this type of property to anyone. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reflects on what they are...
