WORST PROPERTY IN KASAULI – ABSOLUTELY UNFIT FOR STAY

We are a family of four with two small children and had the unfortunate experience of booking the 1BHK at this so-called “property.” It turned out to be the most disgusting and unhygienic place we’ve ever encountered.

We arrived around 7:30 PM, and because the property is located in a hilly area, it was dark and late to search for alternative accommodations. Unfortunately, that meant we had no choice but to stay the night—and it was nothing short of a nightmare.

From the moment we entered, the room was reeking. The toilet was filthy, clearly not cleaned in weeks, with water overflowing from the geyser tap and flooding the bathroom floor. Insects were crawling everywhere—even on the bed.

The bed linens were stained, covered in hair, and appeared completely unwashed. The towels smelled awful and were unusable.

What made it even worse was the behavior of the onsite staff. They were clearly intoxicated—possibly under the influence of substances—and were loudly arguing amongst themselves. It was extremely unsettling and felt completely unsafe, especially for a family with young children.

This place should not be listed as a property fit for human occupancy. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone—even for free. Spare yourself the trauma and book literally anywhere else.

To be fair, the host/owner was kind enough to offer a partial refund and only charged 30% of the amount. However, I still feel compelled to post this honest review to ensure no other family has to endure...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kasauli vista, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the location is breathtaking, with panoramic views that made waking up each morning feel like a dream. The hotel blends perfectly with its natural surroundings, offering a cozy, rustic charm without sacrificing luxury.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, with large windows that allowed us to take in the stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail—from the heated floors to the warm blankets—added to the sense of comfort and relaxation.

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always available to offer tips on hiking trails, nearby attractions, or simply to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The on-site amenities, including the spa and cozy fireplace lounges, were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the mountains.

Dining at the hotel was also a standout—delicious, locally sourced food with an emphasis on mountain-inspired flavors. The restaurant’s rustic yet elegant atmosphere added to the overall charm of the experience.

If you're looking for a peaceful mountain getaway, KAUSALI VISTA is the perfect destination. Whether you're there for hiking, or just to escape the hustle and bustle, this hotel offers everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat. I can't wait to return!

We recently booked a 3BHK apartment at Kasauli Vista date 19/07/2025 for our office tour. Our experience was extremely disappointing, and we feel compelled to Aware others. Major Issues Encountered:

Unprofessional & Abusive Management: The manager behaved in a shockingly unprofessional manner. For the first time ever, we witnessed a property manager verbally abusing and swearing at guests. This is completely unacceptable.

Poor Facilities & Services: Pool Service: Very poor and unsatisfactory.

Dining Service: Very poor and unsatisfactory. Room Cleanliness & Safety: Rooms were only "okay," not properly cleaned, and critically, felt unsafe, especially for families. Serious Safety Concerns (Especially for Families): We strongly advise AGAINST booking this property for families with ladies or children. We felt the environment was not safe for them.

Staff Conduct: In the evenings, the manager and kitchen staff were visibly drunk, which is highly unprofessional and contributes to the unsafe atmosphere.

Misleading Reviews: We suspect the numerous "5-star" reviews for this property are fake and do not reflect the reality.

Urgent Warning: Think 100 times before booking Kasauli Vista. Our experience was deeply negative and concerning.

It is NOT suitable for families, ladies, or children due to the lack of safety, cleanliness, and the unprofessional, intoxicated behavior of staff.
