This review is not written by any ill feeling towards hotel or management. I just want my fellow travelers to be aware of this place.
Pros- 1.Rooms - Average , view from room is average Geyser was working
Cons - Fake promises by hotel manager about the quality of food, number of food items to be served in dinner and breakfast buffet.... total lies. This person had a very sweet tone of voice and smiling face. So beware !!! Food terrible - it was stale infact(which can make u sick). And charged highly for that. I refused to eat it and survived on plane water for the night , as there's nothing else in that area. Or just pay 800 to their cab to go to nearest cafe to have maggi 😂 Service slow - not a single bottles water was provided. On repeatedly asking got 2 small 200 ml bottles. Noone was there at reception in night, getting drinking water becomes difficult. No toiletries in washroom, not even towels provided. Bed was smaller in length, but manageable. The hotel is about 2 km away from the main city area / bus stop/cafe /eateries/ shopping area. U will have to pay Rs. 800 for their cab service (Alto) if u need a drop off there. It's like extortion as no other means of travel is there in that area. ---------------* At the time of billing however after I mentioned all these problems, the owners son stepped in. He told it's a newly opened hotel, so things are not in order yet, offered some discount,so got some off on the food bill. No concession on the overcharged cab rides or poor room service.
If hotel management is reading this- I request you to understand what is it to be in hospitality business...u give good service and charge appropriately for that. We booked a deluxe room for 2 nights, but the room was not ready upon arrival. Please review your cctv cameras and watch for the person who delivered the towels, water bottles, and garbage bag after arrival.
We had one of the worst experiences in my life with unprofessional staff. The same staff member works in the kitchen , works as cleaner, and also works as a receptionist with minimum customer service.
There is no one available on reception when needed. We called twice to collect the empty food trays with no response. You can check you call directory.
Eletricity was unrelaible with no backup on time.
The room was not tidy enough. See the attached pictures.
There was no water in the morning to take a shower. when I called the reception, there was no response, and they didn't have any explanation for it.

Hotel Ritu Regency is a perfect place to stay in Kullu. It is close to the center and the Beas River. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied.
The hotel team like Subham, Rohit & Kamal and specially management Mr Sagar(MD & Ravinder (Manager-operations) has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.
