Sharma's Destination Mashobra — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

We were there for almost 35 days staying at 3BHK (blue one) Location : One of their best USP is their location which is right at main Naldera road very near market at Mashobra-II yet away from hussle-bussle from having ample parking space which is rare in hills and very very safe too. At Ground Floor there was enough space for games and even a little walk surrounded by hills and overlooking forest and valley. We even played cricket with our family and it was fun . A Big plus must say. Very calm and serene Shimla Mall Road hills were clearly visible from our room itself. And Sunset was awsome. Facilities : Rooms are spacious but furniture, mattress and lenin were very old even on request bed sheets and blanket covers were not available and we finally had to buy one on our own. Though kitchen was well equipped good enough for a family of four. One of the big low was television which was a tiny 24" LED TV in Common Hall we couldn't even see what's written on screen at such long distance and opted for Tablet instead of television. . Internet speed although was good with no disturbance which saved us. Hospitality : One area which Abhinav certainly has to work , looks like he was all occupied in newly opened Resturant and 5-6 rooms hotel and we were left to our destiny. It was more of Owner - Tenant relationship than a proper Home stay experience which we have experienced at other locations. We were we were left to our destiny and even small-small things like Garbage bag, Broom, Vipers were not available even for single use. Replacing our blankets itself was a big task and surprisingly as per their caretaker extra blanket were not even available, even for the commited 2nd Rooms heater we had to follow up for 3 long days. Don't know how can someone survive in such cold with just 3 blankets for a family of 4 thankfully we were carrying one good quality double blanket and managed. Food : Though Restaurant came into operation at later half of our stay but we ordered thrice and everytime it was a turnoff. We gave our suggestions to Owners and hope that same will.be considered positively to.improve . Overall : Location is extremely serene with ample space for every common activity like work, play or just relaxation, one where we stayed was an old property which needs major overhaul specially TV, Mattress and Lenin's. Some Improvement required in over all attitude like treating guests like guest and not tenant because we paid bomb for 35 days stay expecting no strings attached Home Stay experience. Possible you might just skip this but i prescribe you as a true customer it is a waste of money so dont book it. Trust me the stay would be terrible. These people are short of everything.. staff ,resources ,and moreover there are electricity problems. The owner isnt helpful at all but moreover is grumpy over things. The management and food was pathetic. It felt like they served us rancid items. To make you believe here's an incident - "we had a three day stay and it was cold(december 26) we realised that there were some things missing in the room(which was unusual and insufficient) like water bottles, glasses, blankets, so we ordered them the same evening it didn't reach. We kept on reminding this guy Abhinav again and again till 3 days. We got the listings on the last day which we had to carry ourselves to our room. And its been very late to post this review because i got sick! " - so this showed their management. One could hardly find any one working here exept two children who seemed to be underaged, well i think it was child labour. And we were yet to see the Grand Drama before checking out this place - "so as i mentioned earlier that they are short of everything there was no carpet or any kind of diposable towel in the bathroom, the same thing we told abhinav(in charge) so he insisted on using the extra towel in the wardrobe. The last day as we called room checking there was no staff so of course abhinav came himself and in a very ill tempered way asked -'why did we use the towel?' We completely ignored him on this and continued to shift our luggage. He was the only one who insisted on using the towel, and now, he is asking for extra money. He literally threw the towel on us and sked for penalty. This is the reality. The original reveiw except from ones that his knowns may have done. In any 3 star hotel or above rated there is a rule that if you dont want to use the towel you have to leave it dropped on the floor while checking out. This is highly unproffesional for someone who is in a hospitality Industry, to blame their own customer and guest for their own shortcoming . To describe my stay at your air bnb was nothing of a Scam.

1. we booked your AIr bnb for 2 nights for nearly Rs 14000.
2. When we reached your location , we came to know thats it just hotel in name of Air bnb , each room has number , mine was "801", if i wanted to book a hotel i could done from expedia or yatra , what is your hotel doing in a air bnb. Air bnb is suppose to provide your with home expeirence.
3. Now come to the biggest scam , when i booked your hotel , Air bnb discription mentioned that you provided kitchen with pics of kicthen with gas stove in your listing , when i reached the hotel the kichten was locked and you said you dont provide kitchen and its only for longer stays, which was never informed when i booked this on air bnb. when we complaint , you provided us with a electric induction with only one compaitible utensils and encourged us to eat at your own side run restaurant. we had brought our food to cook , bread and maggi , eggs which got wasted ,because of your false discription.
4. Finally we dicided to let go and eat at your restaurant , and your privided us with horrible food for which we even paid( i have bills, Air bnb dont have option to upload pics) expect one dish which was returned to chef after he hismself accepting that he accidenly put salt twice.
5. Now you blame us leaving the kitchen dirty ,let me tell you we even paid money to the cleaning guy, we paid service tax , we paid rs 14000 for hotel , now you expect me to clean your hotel .
