Souvenir Hotel Jaipur — Hotel in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

Not at all a 3 star Hotel. We booked 14 rooms and out of them, 40% of the room keys didn't work and they had no backup at all to help us. All they offered was they can come everytime we wanted to open the door, that too they took at least 25mins to come and the guests were kept waiting outside. When we complaint room service guy he gave up and told it's the headache for the management dept, when we complained to the management, they also gave up and told they can't do anything as it's technical dept work. Basically we were left with our problem pathetically and had to deal with it the whole time, basically ended up waiting for 5+ hours in total. Their escalation/exception handling service should be more stronger than their basic services if they claim to be 3 star but NO their service is no match for even a 1 star hotel. The whole staff was not welcoming. If we wanted anything, they would take at least 20 mins; and most of the times we had to remind them again and again. On the food court they won't serve or greet, they would just stand silent like mannequins. The groom's room itself had a lot of nonfunctional equipments. Poor quality hosoitality, Bad quality service, bad quality infrastructure, the hotel only looks good but doesn't function well. Giving up and not assisting properly must not be the kind of attitude of any good star hotel. I'd strongly not recommend this hotel for anything at all. Renest is a 3 star, 9 storey, roof top pool restaurant 15 minutes drive away from the airport. The staffs were affirmative to most of the things, however, there was that shortcoming of a 3 star hotel. #Room service 7/10 they responded, at times they didn't & neither we're informed. #Breakfast 6/10 almost same menu for over 6 days. #Rooms 5/10. Undoubtedly the smallest rooms were large enough with a king size bed, study table, tv, closet, & a tea table. However the rooms weren't lit well enough. It was too dull because of the only yellow light present in the room. The ACs was malfunctioning & we got tired of calling the room service again & again. The Wi-Fi was another annoying feature. They issued the Wi-Fi credentials for limited hours, usually 12.Now for my 6 days stay, I had to get the credentials every now & then. #Parking 3/10 the parking was a bad experience. The basement is too filthy with sewage spilling from drains. #Hot water was available most of the times during the day, not 24 by 7. #Roof top was highly unmaintained & the area was too dusty with signs of not being cleaned for more than weeks. #Staff & Hospitality 9/10. The property was decent but the service could have been better and the room's interior looked old. The furniture had stains which could have been maintained easily. A few taps were not working properly, the moment you open it the water will come on your clothes. In my room, the flush stopped working twice and there was very slow water in flush. Had to call the plumber once to check but the slowness remained.

Also during our stay, we asked for an iron board & I returned it as well. But I received calls to return iron two times. . I didn't even asked for the iron because I always carry my iron. During the check out time, there was still a confusion and they said that I didn't return the iron. I told them that I never took it , it was only the board. I don't know if they mistook it with some other room. So, I told them if they want to check my luggage( because I don't like all that fuss happening because of their mismanagement ),but they denied. They could have easily maintained a diary and write the name of the room where they are sending the goods.

The only good points I can say is that this property is that I had biryani which didn't look like biryani but tasted very good. The breakfast buffet was also decent and had variety. The property is located near metro, has a petrol pump nearby and Sodhani sweets...
