Gulab Resort — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

This is a privately managed property and seems more like a home stay. The rooms were okay-ish in terms of cleanliness but the bathrooms were very dirty. There were traces of previous guests everywhere like garbage bins, cabinets, used soaps. Not sure if the washroom was even cleaned after the previous guests checked out. We booked this hotel with breakfast online but couldn’t reach that day due Jammu highway being closed. So we called the hotel for a fresh booking and surprisingly they charged us even more than what we paid online and didn’t even include the breakfast. At checkout, no one was available and we had to knock on many doors before someone answered and they finally left from the hotel. Not recommended!

It was really a bad experience in the gulab resort...far away there is no facility of restaurants or anything..the resort is worst than we thought...it can't be called as a resort..it is their living place the owners house...in these rainy days there was no Geyser or heater...the washroom smells soo badd as hell....there was no handwash in the washroom....nd the electricity after every 1 hr...nd there is no ceiling fan...there was only a wall fan which is also working slow nd is not giving air...nd the bedsheets were untidy nd dirtyyyy.....like if we sleep we get vomit from that bedsheets nd the smell of the room...ewwww i never experienced that situation in myy lifee...so i would like to tell that..if u wanna stay in a resort then dont book this gulab resort...becauz this is...

This place is insecure. Couples and ladies should avoid going to place. This owner is having awful behaviour towards guest. He's arrogant and inflexible. Having attitude issues. Please avoid or regret.

Edit:- I have booked your room bilal 10 months ago and now before 7 days you are remembering that I have came with 4 adults.... Hahahhaha. Kisko ullu bana rha hai Public ko? Tuze 10 mahine pahile ka yad ki kitna guest aaya tha.

I Booked this hotel only for me and my wife. But this owner Mr Bilal is fraud... All reviews which are written for his hotel are wrong..

Worst place to stay... Keep this place is last option to stay in Srinagar.
