I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Sparrow in Kular Nagipora, Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, from February 6th to February 8th, 2024, and my experience was nothing short of delightful.
From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff. The check-in process was seamless, and the receptionist was both efficient and courteous, providing all the necessary information about the facilities and services available during my stay.
The room at Hotel Sparrow was a haven of comfort. Immaculately clean, well-appointed, and adorned with tasteful decor, it instantly created a cozy atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident, from the plush bedding to the thoughtfully arranged amenities. The breathtaking views from the room's window offered a captivating panorama of the surrounding snow-capped mountains, adding an extra layer of tranquility to the stay.
The hotel's commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness was evident throughout the property. Common areas, including the lobby and dining spaces, were impeccably maintained. The in-house restaurant served a delectable array of local cuisines, each dish a testament to the chef's culinary expertise.
The staff at Hotel Sparrow deserves special commendation for their exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met promptly and with a smile. Whether it was arranging transportation or providing recommendations for local attractions, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident.
The location of Hotel Sparrow is a true gem. Situated on BP Road, Pahalgam, it strikes a perfect balance between accessibility and seclusion. The serene surroundings make it an ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Sparrow was an unforgettable experience. The combination of top-notch amenities, picturesque surroundings, and a genuinely hospitable staff made it a perfect choice for my time in Pahalgam. Read moreThe hotel Sparrow is a modern hotel, built at an amazing location in the valley. The room was comfortable to stay and had all the necessary amenities. The food too was delicious and all the staff at the dining room were courteous and always happy to help. However, we had our share of bad experience with the manager Mr. Syed Rehan who was present at the front desk, who wasn’t cooperative and welcoming right from the time we checked in. While checking in, as we were telling him our name, he reacted as if he did not find our entry and showed us an attitude as if we had barged in without a booking. After that, there is an one time password system at the hotel for Wifi connection, so they tell us the OTP once, that is a three digit number which we are supposed to keep in mind until we check out. And incase the wifi disconnects and we need to reconnect we have to reach out to the reception. Again, this was something which wasn’t informed to us by him. And when I did reach out to him, Mr. Syed Rehan told me to remember my password and incase I forgot it, he wouldn’t provide it again. At this point I failed to understand the reason & confidence for his audacity to talk to a guest like that, because the way he told me was less of a request and more of an ultimatum. Overall, our stay at the hotel was amazing, barring our experience with the manager. I request the hotel authorities to look into this matter as nobody would want to leave the hotel with sour memories due to one employee’s behaviour. The two stars have been deducted only for his behaviour which I not only experienced it towards my family & friends but also towards other guests. I have read other reviews that too from last year complaining about this particular manager, but seems no action has...
Read moreTotaly worst Hotel. I dnt knw how many people are looking so happy and they give 5* review. Hotel is 13km far from Pahalgam market and was under contruction. Drilling noice till late night. Smoke smell in bathroom. Leakage problem everywhere.
Attitude people on reception. They speak full on US accent english to make us feel that we are in Kashmir 7* property. But wenever we request anything we got only one answer Yes we will do it. But they did nothing.
3.. No hot water for entire 2 days. We got frustrated by telling him there is no hot water but we got only one answer ( abhi aa jaega 2 min) but ek baar bhi nahi aaya. This was totaly pathetic. If there is issue in hot water supply than straight away tell your guest, why to fool them.
4.. Maximum time there is no light. They do have generator but most of the room lights blinks continuosly which irritates you.
I stayed for 2 nights and 10 to 15 times i called them and even personaly told them to recharge the TV and both the US accent receptionist told yes sir in next 5 min it will be done.. but they dint recharge the TV. This is how they fool the guest. Dint even respect that guest has requested so many times so we should do it immediately.
Food is ok. They keep maggie in breakfast. 😂
Overal worst service and attitude problem. I will give minus rating in stay and service.
One star i have to give by default in the review. That is only for view from the room.(If you get...
