Hotel Sun Shine — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

One day before our travel to Pahalgam we were informed by Cleartrip that the hotel originally booked by us is over-booked and hence we have to be accommodated elsewhere. We were ensured that this place is at par with the standard of our original booking but that was far from being true. The hotel looks like a tiny cottage with multiple rooms. The rooms are extremely small with bare minimum space to walk around and the bathroom was even smaller. The room service is extremely poor. The staircase carpet was torn from various places and the lobby window had a broken glass.||The only thing that works for this hotel is that its right on the bank of the river, you can enjoy a nice breakfast basking in the sun with the river Lidder flowing right next to you. The hotel is situated on the bank of river lidder, and its marvellous location make it different and all special from all other hotels in that area. The exotic views of the river and surrounding mountains from hotel are unforgettable for me and just by chance we stayed in this hotel due to unavailabilty of rooms in the hotel that has been allotted to us by our travel planners. Review showing 4+ rating, which is absolutely FAKE, we paid 3000/day but it is not worth of 1000 rs also.
