Ronak Resort — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

The property is a decent one. It is a bit far from Srinagar Airport. I think it is about 19km from the airport and from the town it is around 10km far. Reaching the property is a bit difficult as it is through a small gully road with many turns. It is basically a cottage type accomodation. The owner is there to take care of the guests. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The bathrooms are also well maintained. Hot water is awailable at the property. The food is just average. We have to tell what we need and if it is available we will get it. Don't expect a wide spread menu for breakfast and dinner. There is a good space at the back with good lawn and a fire place. The fire place is great during the evenings. The house keeping part of the property needs to be improved. We stayed there four nights and out of this nights only once they cleaned the room, which i think was not we expected. It will be nice it the rooms are cleaned daily. Even they dont change the towels on daily basis. Have got a decent wifi connection. Also in my room there was no heater facility and also no heater bed also, which also is a must in these kind of...

We stayed at Ronak Homestay for 3N/4D. It was ideal accommodation for us, though a bit away from the main roads.

The owner, Mr. Mehraz was very cheerful and helpful. We were a family group of 10 and he gave us the entire first floor, which included three bedrooms, a separate dining area (with two dining tables) and a sitting room. This was ideal for family seating every evening. The sitting room also has a collection of books, if you are interested.

Overall, it's a great accommodation. There are ample open areas including a well-landscaped garden, outdoor dining area, and plenty of parking space. In terms of cleanliness, the entire property is clean and well-maintained. The rooms have a cozy feel with clean carpets and wooden paneling.

This review is about my 5 star experience at this Homestay/Hotel. Hotel is owned and managed by Mr Mehraj. He has built this gorgeous property all by himself and trust me property was so clean, neat and tidy. In addition to this backyard area is well maintained with couple of bonfire pit as well. Mr Mehraj is a very welcoming person and he made sure to make me feel right at home during my entire stay. Though the property is located around 1.5km from dal lake in a good residential colony, you may not find any shops or restaurant nearby. However, hotel is providing food and cab facility. Hotel staff was so friendly and the hotel area is so silent and peaceful. Cab service provided by Mehraj Sahab was again awesome. Lastly I highly recommend this place for all sorts of travel and stay purposes....
