SCAM ALERT – This Hotel Should Be BLACKLISTED

We truly appreciate and salute OYO for their platform and services—but we are deeply disappointed and ashamed by the behavior of this particular hotel owner.

Passing off responsibility while falsely signing as “Team OYO” is outright deceitful. Such actions not only mislead customers but also damage trust and tarnish the reputation of the OYO brand.

This hotel should be blacklisted immediately. After this experience, I will never recommend this property to anyone.

This hotel gave me one of the worst experiences of my life. I had a confirmed and prepaid booking through [Agoda/OYO], but when I reached, they flat-out denied check-in. The staff shamelessly insisted that I cancel my online booking and book directly with them, just to avoid paying platform charges.

They clearly have no interest in serving guests—only in saving their own pockets. I was left stranded with luggage, tired and helpless, because I refused to go along with their unethical demand.

Let me be clear: If you think this review is exaggerated or ignore it—you’ll end up learning the hard way. If you book here, be ready for your WORST experience.

Thankfully, OYO stepped in quickly and relocated me to a much better property nearby, but no one should have to go through this.

I booked hotel for 3 nights, and checked out just after one night because of safety and privacy issue of my wife. The hotel's bathroom has some structural fault. Exhaust outlet of bathroom from other room was directed towards my room's bathroom.

Someone was peeping from other bathroom exhaust when my wife was in the bathroom. I raised this concern with them, and said this is not acceptable, there was one OYO ground staff among them, who came immediately, I thought it would help, but to my surprise, they said that there is no guest on the other room and guest already checked out, and we might be having illusions. However, my wife and I reiterated my self, they went down and checked CCTV footage and said no one came out from the room. I am not sure if they have a farce CCTV or they were trying to save some house keeping culprit.

I raised this concern with OYO and escalated this issue. Asked them to take serious action against this and get the bathroom issue fixed, I also added that I would not want this to happen with someone else (anywhere).

My suggestion: Do not go for this hotel. All because of the bathroom...

Didn't provide us the room key, room was small(not as shown in the app). The bedsheet & the blankets were dirty as hell & also the pillow was really small in size. Bathroom was so small that one person can barely use it (not at all comfortable for senior citizens). They didn't even bother to provide us water, handwash or towels. Worst hotel I have ever checked in, please don't stay in this hotel. The pictures also displayed in the app are not of this hotel. At last, they are going to ask you to give them your phone so that they can rate 5 stars themselves. This hotel & the service of the staffs doesn't even deserve a single star. If there was an option to give them negative stars for rating, I surely would...
