Bluemist Homestay — Hotel in Karnataka

We visited Blue Mist Homestay for a team outing, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the hosts made us feel completely at home. The location is absolutely perfect—away from the chaos, surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air, it was the ideal spot for a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat.

The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal felt like a lovingly prepared home-cooked feast. The quality was top-notch, with flavors that felt so authentic and comforting, like what you’d get at home. Whether it was the delicious breakfast to start the day or the hearty dinner to end it, every meal was a delight!

Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering great service and making sure we had a memorable stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, providing the perfect setting for our team to unwind and bond.

I would highly recommend Blue Mist Homestay for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway or a team outing. The combination of amazing food, beautiful surroundings, and fantastic hospitality made it a perfect choice...

I visited Chikkamagaluru with family for two nights, and chose to stay here.

Room: Overall I had a pleasant experience, with a few downsides (i) The jet spray in the washroom was leaking to the point that it was unusable. We notified about this to the staff, but no action was taken to fix it. (ii) Electricity was going on and off very frequently throughout the night. My guess is that the inverter/generator at the property was not able to handle the load, which in itself was minimal. (iii) Rooms were smaller, but manageable. (iv) WiFi connection wasn't there in our rooms, but was only available in certain areas.

Food: My stay included breakfast, snacks and dinner. Food was great, and the service was satisfactory as well.

Location: The property itself is situated in a beautiful location and has a lot of amenities for leisure like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, kid play ground. We asked for a carrom board and they also had that! The staff also provided us with our own bonfire setup at night which was pretty cool! There's so many beautiful flowers, mountains and coffee...

We had an horrible experience at another home stay and called blue mist, we fortunately got dormitory for 6 of us and we were skeptical about the place. however, when we sat for lunch we realized the food was great and the caretaker people are constantly making sure we had all varieties of food served to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and they prepared everything that we asked for. The best part is they make sure we are happy and prepare everything that we needed. They have great cook, great caretaker and nice rooms.||||The view is great from the homestay and they even suggested few places to visit while checking out which were very good. ||||Overall, my friends and I great time especially when we had a bad experience in another homestay the day before. ||||Note : The owner doesn't seem to like to interact much and have left it to caretaker people.
