We arrived at this hotel at 6pm. ||We were given filthy room, no glasses, no water, stained and dirty linen, disgusting towels, unhygienic smelling pillows, filthy bath mat (see picture), tapware never cleaned, ants everywhere around sink tap, no toilet paper, shower door was broken (in all three rooms we were subjected to), air conditioning couldn't go lower than 24 degrees, two lights not working in the ceiling, mini fridge not working in ALL rooms, TV not working, wi-fi not working at all. We called reception and he said he couldn't fix any single problem so he moved us to (firstly) a second room. This room was equally disgusting so he moved us to a THIRD room. In this room, only one channel worked but as least welcome had ONE channel!!! Everything else was the same, so disgusting. We asked to speak with the owner, at this stage it was 10:30pm and the nightmare was continuing. Reception called the OYO property manager Mr. Raj Shekhar, he came and he said he was not responsible for anything on the property!! What is an OYO employee supposed to do then if he is onsite and does NOT audit? |||Finally at 11.30pm we went to bed with nothing fixed. I strongly suggest, never book it from OYO App, they simply deny the booking from OYO. I booked it from the app only and when I reached there it was around 11:00 PM midnight. They said we stopped accepting bookings from OYO and you have to pay for the stay if you want to. I contacted OYO and the manager and OYO guy must've talked like for 10 minutes over call and then nothing happened. OYO stopped responding to my calls. I was new to Nandi Hills and had no idea about other places. So I had to pay them 2000 for just 12 hours. Which was doubled the actual cost. It didn't stopped there, now I should talk about the experience that I had with the room and with the service. It was a really nice room I would say but everything was so dirty. Like they didn't even laundry the quilt and bedsheets. Small blood stains were all over the place. Water wasn't coming to taps properly. WiFi wasn't there, I asked them to send me a bottle of water. I guy came with the Steel Jug of water and some insects were swimming in the water. It was hell of a worse experience. Can't explain the full experience. Read moreOne of the worst experiences, I have ever had. The staffs were rude and didn't provide any service within 3 hours of our ask. The room was dirty, there were beer bottle stickers and vomit stains in the bed. TV was not working and the hotel staff was delaying the recharge so that he could save the money in case we didn't get back to them. Drinking water was not clean. The lifts are switched off well early in the eveining, again savings. Telephone was not working, so I had to walk all the way down to ground floor first couple of times, after which the property manager gave his mobile number. After all these, I had to call the customer care OYO, I ended up speaking with at least 7 to 8 of them and spent hours together speaking to them, but they didn't resolve my issue as well didn't call back as promised. At the end while checking out the hotel staff will insist you to give 5 star rating, saying a sorry. I lost one weekend and one vacation. Please don't make it happen to you too.
