Daisey Dee — Hotel in Karnataka

Being a frequent Traveler I always prefer home stay or B&B as my stay preference as it gives you an opportunity to interact with the locals. Keeping that in mind we booked this homestay & it turned out to be the best part of our entire trip. The homestay is located in central location of coorg but away from all the hustle of city. The view from house is excellent. Its all green & you can hear birds voice clearly when seated in balcony. The Host Mr Dheeraj & his father were very warm & welcoming. They did not hesitate to go extra mile to make our stay comfortable. We were lucky to spend some quality time with them during our stay. They guided us for which places to visit, which restaurants to try , etc. Also, they prepared local chicken for us which we really enjoyed having with them. They have two friendly dogs & dog lovers will just love this place. If you are looking for a stay with a mix of peaceful location, good scenery & great host in Coorg, than Daisey Dee is a place you all should visit. Please note, this is no Treebo type hotel, it is sort of Home Stay with the below challenges:||||1. If you are a OK driver, avoid this hotel, getting the car to the hotel is a tough thing unless you are experienced. Two guests with Toyota Innova and Ford EcoSport had tough time to get their car to parking. Drive at your won risk. ||||2. If you plan to have a nice warm bath after a long drive, beware, Hot Water in the evening is YMMV as Sun is not there. So, wait for next morning or have a cold bath.||||3. Do not even fall for the Breakfast included gimmick its a joke. You get a Uppit made by a person in their kitchen and that is it.||||4. The Stairs to the rooms are not safe for kids as they can be slippery when it rains.||||5.No AC, TV is there but No Channels to watch||||6.
