Its a great meeting with you Mr Amit, who just appointed newly at the homestay and was very kind and running for every thing but blocked by his manager for few things... Visited this location at Christmas time 23. Don't carried away by the polite and sweet talk at the time of booking. Mr. Srikant will scratch you at the time of checkout. Read or ask everything, I mean it, term and conditions very carefully before ruine your precious leaves and holiday time. In the name of second property stay, they will set you at 800 mt away and you have to move each and every time for breakfast, tea, or dinner...food is typical local and not consider your taste. In the case of cold they will provide you bedsheet like blanket, and they unaltered after several requests for extra blankets. Few remarkable characteristics of manager Srikant... Brings your kids I'd card for age proof as he will interact alone with kids and ask his age or other information to know just the age of the kids and if cross 6 year and 1 day, get ready for extraa charges at the time of check out. May create a scene infront of any one for your requests, if you just try to make your point. He threatened to one of his colleagues vinutha for deduction of salary , You may also recieve statement like ye koi dharmashala nahin hai , if you will try to negotiate for anything.... Please carry good quality of blanket in the month of December, specially when kids are with you to warm yourself and your family members during nights., So guys it's your choice, your call....but enquire each and every thing before booking... Some thing called value for money and this place will disappoint you for sure....little scope is left due to the flowers and greenaries at the location... So...

One word - wonderful. Had a good experience at those resort. Owner Ramadevi nicely interacts with the guests there and the caretaking boys Sumant and Gunda are very helpful. They listen to you carefully and assist you as needed.

The food there is simply awesome. Mostly veg dishes served as a part of menu is lip smacking especially the onion bajji that was served to us as evening snack. Breakfast has a variety of items which you will like very much. There will be one non-veg chicken gravy as a part of standard dish for dinner. That said any requests to prepare any special items will be accepted and prepared to your satisfaction. A big thank you to the cook there. Loved the food she prepared for us.

The location is nice. You get a direct view of the Mullayanagiri peak from the estate. We had a stay at Tree house and it was a different experience as it was a first time for us. Staying in tree house is different than staying in bunglow or a building, here you are on top of a tree and also in the middle of a lot of trees. So your house will be swaying when you move in or when there is a gush of wind blowing. That said it's completely safe, even I had that fear that it might fall off but after staying in, I can confidently say it's safe. So if you are kind of adventurous person, then only you can go in and experience it.

Finally, thanks to Ramadevi mam for providing us ones of the best experiences. I would definitely visit them another time and would highly recommend...

My cousin brother and his newly wed wife had flown down from Chennai to Mangalore to spend some time with our family. We decided to go to chickmagalur and suggested this place since it had been there some 5 years ago. I called and the manager gave me all the information patiently. We booked 2 wooden cottages, paid in advance, and drove there. When we reached we found out that the wooden cottages were unavailable since some work was going on. Disappointed but tired so we decided to take a normal room instead. The mangaer offered many apologies, but did not offer any concessions or discounts for cheating us. We decided to cut short our trip and went to Udupi to stay at the beach. The location is very nice, close to the main road and the property is very large, good for a morning stroll. The boy who manages also is kind and helpful, but the property is completely out of shape. We also found out the tree house was gutted in fire a few days ago becuse of short circuit. It was scary. Overall check carefully before you go, they send you old stock footage and pics to try to convince you. It was a horrible experience to say the least. Special mention to the boys who manage the property, they were very good and helpful but cannot take away the fact that they lied to us. So i will not recommened or ever visit this...
